This is the second “hand hammered” bowl I’ve received from this company that has clear machine marks. There are some decorative dents, presumably so it appears hand hammered. I ordered the 6” bowl and the bowl I received plays F#4 according to the tuner I used. It is very easy to play so it’s got that going for it. The notes don’t sustain as long as I would hope or expect.

I bought it as a gift so I haven’t tried it for sound

As others have mentioned, this arrived just wrapped in a plastic bag. The bag was torn and the striker was missing. I tried to contact the seller through Amazon, but the contact info is incorrect (the company that Amazon connected me to said they don't sell products on Amazon). The bowl itself is attractive. The tone is a bit tinny, but it does sustain pretty well. Be aware that the bottom of the bowl is rounded, so you really can't use it on a flat surface without the cushion. This isn't really a flaw, just not my preference.

We got this bowl because someone had gifted us the 3.5 inch bowl and we love it! We make it sing all the time so we thought the 6 inch would accompany it nicely, but we’re surprised to find that after weeks of trying we couldn’t get it to sing at all. It seems like the bowl is the same quality as the other one we have but the stick doesn’t work well with the bowl. Maybe at a lower price point we could have kept trying, but for $60 we want a bowl that can actually sing.

Lo compré para mi madre y la ha gustado. Para el tamaño que tiene dice que está muy contenta con el sonido. Lo ha puesto en una estantería y la sirve para relajarse y para decorar.

Para ser mi primer cuenco me siento muy satisfecho, muy buen tamaño para iniciar y practicar el uso de los cuencos tibetanos
