VetOne Advita Probiotic Nutritional Supplement for Dogs - 30 Packets

Got this because I was looking for some supplement to give our 100lb lab retriever. Where we live in the south east, so summers are hot and humid. Our dog gets terrible yeast overgrowth but it gets worse when the weather is warm. I was thinking his gut microbiome may be unbalanced, so I was recommended this. It has worked SO well in conjunction with fish oil in his food. He has all but stopped scratching and he doesn’t smell nearly as bad and you can look at his skin and tell it’s healthier. We have tried everything in the past, medicine, medical wash, medical spray (ketoconazole) and nothing has worked. This worked wonders. He loves the Taste of it, he acts like we’re “seasoning” his food and waits for us to be done 🤣 it seemed to work within the first month too. I would give this a 10/10, but I do think it’s effectiveness has been increased also with the fish oil :)

Our vet recommended this product as a supplement for our dog when he had diarrhea. It smells a little like meat and spreads easily on food. I would recommend wetting the food a bit or adding wet dog food to dry food before sprinkling on the powder on the food. We typically use one packet. away in the morning and it provides results within a couple of days. We use it only when needed, not as a daily supplement.

I give my dog this any time he's on antibiotics or medicine that may upset his stomach. He's been taking it on and off for about 8 years. It seems to make a notificable difference in keeping bowel movements regular. My dog also loves the taste of it, so sprinkling it on his food encouraged him to eat when he's not feeling great.

My dog is Chef Ramsey when it comes to probiotics but he will eat this just fine! This product is cost efficient and works as good (or better than) other more expensive probiotics.While my dog is picky about taste, I’m picky about ingredients. This product hits every single one of the characteristics I look for in ongoing care for my dog

This product is amazing it really helps my mini schnauzer in his BM's he loves the chicken flavor. The only downside the box gets damaged sometimes and I have to throw away some packets because of cross contaminants. Secure packaging. Would be an extra plus.
