Great Sounding Tele Style Pickups for a Custom Cigar Box Guitar build!
I was building a custom cigar box guitar that someone commissioned, wanting a 5 string, open-G-tuned CBG based on Keith Richards' Telecaster, and I saw this set. I technically only needed the bridge pickup, but the price here was less than the price of just the one pickup elsewhere, so I figured I could use this neck pickup in a different instrument. With the brass bottom plate, this bridge pickup sounds bright, clear and powerful, and it overdrives wonderfully. It was a great match for the PAF style humbucker I put in the neck position. Definitely recommend!

Great value! Great tone!
Bought a tele copy at a yard sale that had a dead bridge pickup. I only needed the bridge pickup, so thatโs all I installed. Iโll save the neck pup for another project. I wasnโt expecting much from this pup, but was pleasantly surprised with the tones that can be achieved. Country twang to punky crunch with a clarity that cuts through. All for less than $7(per pup). For the price I wouldnโt hesitate to buy this set again for future projects. Also, I had read other reviews that had stated that the screw holes didnโt match up properly. This was not a problem for me. Installation was pretty straightforward without any hang-ups. I did, however, choose to reuse the original hardware(springs/screws)as the originals looked to be a little more heavy duty than the included parts.

How can they even sell this garbage?
The bridge pickup is laughable with how bad nothing lines up. The provided bridge springs don't even work with the bridge screws. Overall just terrible.

Wow !!!!! these are the best bang for your Buck !!!! sounds like or Better than Pickup that cost $$$$$$$more this is what you need for your next build or replacement of pickups ........ They are AWESOME !!!!!!
