Ingenious little safe. Cover looks very much like a book cover. The "pages" are a hard plastic which from far away look like regular old pages. It comes with two keys, and the safe seems quite sturdy and a good modest size. Love it.

Bought for my college son's dorm room. Looks very authentic (like a real book) and would be good place to stash things in a dorm or other place. Is clever because most people would not even think to look twice at a boring old dictionary, especially in this day and age with internet. Obviously not totally secure because could be broken into pretty easily with hammer or screwdriver, or just physically picked up carried away if the thief discovered it. Would be nice place to hide valuables or other things in plain sight, and safer than putting cash, etc under a mattress/drawers/closets, etc, where thieves would be likely to look. The metal is not super-cheap, either, and heavier than I expected for the price. Cool gift and nice value. Would also be nice gift for little kids to store their money or treasures. Am going to buy one for my own professional office to keep various stuff in that's not in our office safe, since I feel pretty confident that the average burglar who broke in looking for money or drugs, could care less about looking through my books and much more likely to go through other areas in the office.

Right out the box , it looks just like the picture and it’s the size of a real book. I opened the book and the glue holding the spine to the box came off , so now I have to glue or tape it back. It came with two keys and they are good quality.

Some reviews were saying that the actual "pages" part of the book looks fake, and that is true. Anyone can easily tell it's plastic, but as long as you have it on a bookshelf with the pages part of the book hidden, it looks just like a normal book! There is quite a bit of room to add money, jewelry, or other small items you want to hide. I also like the fact that it comes with keys instead of a lock code. I'm super happy with my purchase and is easily disguised!

I bought this as a gift for a 14 year old. She loves it. It’s very spacious so you’re able to store more than just money. I filled it with candies for her birthday.The product is a bit heavy, which I did not expect but I guess that speaks to its durability. It actually looks like a real book so it fits well on a shelf amongst other books.

When it arrived, the middle 'safe' section and the binding had separated, essentially rendering it two pieces: a cover and a safe. I bought some Krazy Glue and put it back together. Get what you pay for. The pages are obviously false but from up on a bookshelf you can't really tell. Does its job.

This was the perfect item for my mother's caregiver to lock up Mom's weekly med supply and a few personal items in while she's working the front desk or going to and from work with them. She loves it. Great item for the city dweller that doesn't want to go around swinging a purse with all your valuables in it. People just don't tend to try and rob you of a book, lol!
