I definitely recommend!! It’s very high quality and durable and easy to open and close the door, setting it up is easy as you just unfold it but requires some strength to clip it into place.

Very strong much better quality mesh panels compared to more expensive crates, the locking door mechanism is spring loaded and very secure. Also comes with a divider to decrease the interior area for a puppy to use. I purchased the medium model and is a perfect size for a fully grown Scottish Terrier/ Westie sized adult.

I bought this ‘Amazon basics’ crate in the XXL size (48inches). Firstly, don’t think ‘basics’ means it’s not the best quality because it’s exceptionally good and brilliant value for money. The 48” size is truly humongous and even though I’d measured the dimensions before buying I wasn’t prepared for how big it would be. The crate, which arrives collapsed (thankfully!) weights 48 lb or 21.7kg, so it’s very heavy. It assembles in under 2 mins and no tools are required. The door catches are a dream, smooth and secure and a divider is also included. I couldn’t be more pleased with this purchase. Because of the size Amazon delivered this item using Arrow XL, who I’d not heard of before. They were amazing! Loads of pre-delivery status updates, a two hour slot given the evening before l, live tracking available on the day and with a pre-delivery phone call when the courier is about half hour away and the crate was delivered within the notified time. Who could ask for better service??

One of our cats had an operation and had to have cage rest for 7 weeks! Bought this large one as it has to hold litter tray and food and water and biscuits and it is just the right size. Well made, strong and easy to open and close plus it has two doors and it is not expensive, and a big plus is when it is finished being used it can be folded up and stored in the shed. I must say that Amazon basic's stuff always seem to be well made and fit for use.

It's a brilliant little crate (we got the smallest size for a cat), durable and strong with an easy to use latch. However the reason I've docked a star is because it's almost impossible to dismantle once constructed. The quality is almost too good for the size, there is no flexibility in the wire to be able to bend the top or sides to unhook the top clips. I managed it eventually with a bit of persuasion from a chisel but it damaged the wire coating and it wouldn't be for anyone without the strength to prise it apart.

Incredibly fast delivery. Really good quality - much better than expected. Easy to assemble. Latch opening is a really good design. Really pleased with the purchase.
