So much better
So far it works great, the quick release can be done one handed and is much easier than unscrewing the traditional cover. The only problem I have is the wire roll is loose and doesn't always like to retract. Aside from that, so far so good!

Better than my twist on lid wire reel
Bought this to replace my aluminum Klein twist on reel, in my honest opinion this is a better quality wire reel. The lid is easy enough to operate once you get on the job and get used to it. The appearance is much better than my bare metal reel. For the money I'm happy with my purchase and will purchase again when I need a replacement.
