It works
I have a cat that insists on scratching my door casings, even though it has a large scratching post. I bought this tape and put it over the spots he has been working. As advertised, cats don't like sticky surfaces. The tape works, and it is low profile. Most people won't notice it on your woodwork.

Cat Repeller Works well
Works well. The cat doesn't like it, Leaves the furniture alone.

Helped somewhat
The stickiness is supposed to deter cats. Mine was just curious about it. It did do its job as far as not scratching the couch, but she would bite at it, and I had to replace it more often. It sticks really well to some materials but not as well to others.

Anti-Scratch Tape Works Great
I tried this product out of desperation. One of my cats (a cat that was a rescue) loves to scratch walls, specifically corners. I have tried scratching posts, water sprays, nail clipping, and verbal reinforcement. While everything that I tried worked to reduce the behavior, nothing completely stopped it until I tried this product. I do still see her occasionally reach up to scratch, then I get the stink eye as she realizes that her paws are sticking to the tape! Hopefully this behavior will stop completely soon so that I can remove the tape. That is the down side to this product, the covered area is sticky so I have to be careful to not touch it myself. Also this must be changed occasionally. My other cat is one of her kittens that I decided to keep and he was learning that behavior from her when I started using this product. He stopped pretty quickly and now both enjoy tearing up the cardboard scratchers that I have put out for them. This is completely invisible on the wall and causes no damage. I like that this comes on a roll so I have not had to repurchase. This product does what it is supposed to. It has been a game changer for me.

Works well.
Very sticky as it should be. Only issue we have is that the new kitten loves it when her paws get stuck to it. First cat we have ever had that likes her paws stuck to things. Except for her being a kitten, its working great on our new couch to keep it from being the new scratching post.

Stickiest tape ever?
Okay, so I firmly believe I have a love/hate for this tape. Please excuse my long review, but this must be said .๐๐คฃ I put a test patch on my couch, proceeded to pull it off gently and it ripped out a lot of fibers on my couch. I then decided that was a no go to stick on my couch! I then put two wide strips around the boarder of my couch . My cats would walked on it, and soon learned that if they even walked near the couch their feet would become sticky. So, that seems to be working. I have had the tape there for 2 weeks. It is losing itโs stick , and lots and of dust and hair gets stuck to it ;so I will need to take it up. Fyi( humans feet get stuck on it too, so remember that itโs there!)๐ Next thing is that I used the tape to put under my accent rug to keep it from sliding around on the tile. Working great; but noticed that the rug is bunching up in the middle. So I decided I would pull the rug up to rearrange it, and well, I pulled to hard ,and the tape from the bottom ripped out a patch of the rug fabric.( pretty thin rug from the start, BUT STILL! ) Ask me how I feel about this?!๐ Conclusion is that this tape is obviously very sticky, caution must be displayed when deciding where you are going to put it, does seem to be working to keep my four cats from scratching, and; for the love of all things that you want to keep decently niceโฆ.that you have spent good money onโฆ.. donโt be like me and pull the tape off of anything you own very, very gently! โบ๏ธ๐๐๐ป Thanks for reading.

Perhaps the worst double sided tape we've ever tried!!!!!
We desperately needed some anti-scratch tape for our 4 indoor cats since they've recently developed a habit of scratching our furniture. I saw this particular brand of tape (Chuangseed), and ordered it, thinking it would do the trick. . When we opened it, we never anticipated the difficulty that we'd have just getting the white paper backing off the tape. My wife, who is usually very skillful at getting white backing off of any type of tape or contact papers, was beyond frustrated trying to get the paper off. Then I tried, trying everything. Sure, we finally got the paper off one end (which took almost 15 minutes of trying). Now I wish they made a one sided (one sticky side, with the other side being smooth) for this length and width of tape. So we cut the initial length that we needed and applied the tape (another nightmare because remember, it's stick on both sides, so trying to get it into tight spots is almost impossible). But then to get the next piece, we had to again try to get that paper backing off - another 15 minutes or so lost! As it is, we just stopped trying to use it - the worst experience with this type of tape we've ever experienced. And be careful, because just like the Chinese do with many of their products, this same tape will be listed under various off-the-wall brand names (but it's the same tape). A total waste of money for us. What was expected to finally be a solution for our cats scratching our furniture, turned out to be an effort in futility. Yuck.....

Quality could be improved. Doesnโt stick well to carpet
I wish this was stickier on the side you adhere to the surface. This feels like very flimsy tape. I bought this for carpet so its sticking power is on the weak side. Itโs very expensive for what it is! The backing paper is also hard to peel off. Iโm hoping it works with my cat.

Good product
Easy to use. Sometimes a bit tricky to remove the non sticky layer but nails are your friends. Cat does not scratch the corner of the couch anymore, even after removing it a month later. Has been used everywhere since: window edges, kitchen bin, โฆ

Anti-scratch Cat Tape
I purchased this because my cat has decided to use my bannister post as a scratch post & my landlord is gonna flip. ๐ It was easy to cut, fairly easy to apply, but the paper layer is a bit of a faff to peel off. It worked immediately. ๐ She went to scratch on the bannister post & realised that it was now very sticky & unpleasant on her paws. She quickly stopped trying to scratch there & has been using the collection of scratch boards, posts & mats she has instead. One weird thing though... She no longer attempts to scratch the bannister post, but she does stand on her back legs to reach up at the tape to lick it? ๐ She's quite obsessed with it. There's plenty on the roll. I only used it on the one bannister post, coz my sofa is already ruined. But it would apply it to my next sofa.
