Not powder or granules, it’s just a solid piece of trasi. If you like the powder for convenience sake this is not the one to get. But the flavor is good

This is the very terasi I'd always use to make sambal or sayur asem, back in Indonesia. Unfortunately d price offered here is very expensive, don't worth it & for me it's much cheaper to get Thai's shrimp paste, which has similar taste & flavor but 3 times cheaper than this terasi udang..
