I was looking for a jerky that could be a ready to eat snack and be good for cooking. The meat itself seems to be a very good product and I appreciate the Turkey. At first the flavoring is really nice, then it gets to be too much. For a snack it is not for me. I haven't tried it to cook with but I think it would be good. I don't taste any turkey at all and that's a shame I think. My wife thinks it's too strong as it is. I might be interesting if they could make a version that allows the turkey taste to be present.

Very tasty

I LOVE this jerky. Recently I’ve developed a gluten intolerance/reaction (unsure if it’s a full on allergy yet, still waiting on bloodwork) and I’ve went very strictly gluten-free the last few weeks and quit having reactions. I was afraid I wasn’t going to be able to eat this anymore, but when I read gluten-free soy sauce I was very excited. Well after about an hour of eating the Teriyaki flavored, I began to have an allergic reaction. So even though it says gluten-free, I’m not so sure now! Really unfortunate because the jerky itself is very moist and tender, all the flavors are delicious. I highly recommend this jerky but it may not be a gluten-free option as I also read another review from someone that it made them react as well.

I got these for my husband because I’m always on the hunt for healthy, high-protein snacks to keep him going at work. Perky Jerky Turkey Jerky did not disappoint! He loves the taste, and I love that he’s not running on just coffee and wishful thinking. Definitely a repeat buy!
