How do you reverse the power feed while keeping the chuck rotating CW

You need to unlock the lever and then you can rotate forward and backwards and if you want you can work it back and forward manually.

Can this be used to work on pool cue shafts?

Yes and no... it is fully capable of working on cue shafts and full sized bar cues. The very few issues that I found with working on cue sticks in this lathe would be its a bit "overkill". Also the bed is just 50mm short of being long enough to place a full size shaft in between centers. Lastly and most importantly, you will need to get the "soft jaws" for the three jaw chuck or it will shred any and all wood. All of that being said, I definitely recommend this as a one stop shop to building a cue, top to bottom. Can even turn your own collars and threaded joints.
