Very good device
I wanted one of these back when they were new but they were way too expensive. And so I was thinking about getting a different phone and looked at the fold three I did some research I was told to stay away from versions one and two and the version for was a little on the more expensive side I picked this item up for under $400 which was my limit on paying for a phone. At first the battery life wasn't the greatest but after running it to 15% and charging it to 100% over the course of a week and a half the battery life has become significantly better they say that these phones are refurbished but I can honestly say from what I got and what I see it appears to be a brand new even though they said it was not what I received the phone there were absolutely no scratches or dings anywhere I checked every inch of the phone and it was flawless being able to buy a $2,000 phone for under 400 bucks that was a winning deal I would highly recommend the fold three for anybody looking for a foldable phone at a decent price. If you would like to get the fold for and have a little bit more to spend that would be fine as well I've had no problems I've only had the phone for a couple of weeks and I've had no issues at this point. The only drawback to buying one of these phones is once you have had one it's very hard to go back to a regular candy bar type phone.

Fold 3 Better Than Duo for Me
Switching from a Microsoft Duo. For me, the Duo's split screen was more of a distraction than a benefit. I got tired of always having to open the Duo to do any task. The Fold 3 overcame both those issues, plus more. - The cover screen allows doing simple tasks quickly - like responding to a text. Or, I could easily invoke Google Assistant. - The inside screen is much better for browsing and watching videos than the Duo. When you open the browser on the Fold, you get a nice big SINGLE screen. On the Duo, I could only use half the screen (hard to see letterbox movies on a half-screen), or if I used full screen, the hinge "chops out" some of the content. So distracting. - Fold works seamlessly with Galaxy Watch. With the Duo, when I used the Watch's Google Assistant, the Watch was intermittently unable to access my contacts (I.e. when I asked to text Joe, it would say "no contact number for Joe". Irritating. - Fold has wireless charging. Duo does not. - Fold has more memory than Duo. - Fold has more and better cameras than Duo. With the Duo, I only had one camera, requiring you to open Duo in "phone mode" (one screen facing down one facing up) to take a photo. - The Duo was good at multi-tasking. You could easily start two apps on each screen. However, I think with Fold's Android 12 upgrade, there's always a "start bar" open now, which makes it easy to open two simultaneous apps on Fold now. The one thing the Duo did better than the Fold was handling on-line meetings. You can prop the Duo open on the desk. The top screen would be the online meeting, and you can use the bottom screen to "do work" (read notes, open spreadsheets, etc). However, I hardly used that feature. The Fold 3 was great as a renewed Amazon device - works like new.

Middle black line of death on inner screen after 3 months.
Less than 4 months owning this, and the screen in the middle just randomly made a "pop" noise and I got the dreaded black line down the middle + right side touch doesnt work anymore. Not durable. Chunky when closed in your pocket. Bad front facing camera. I loved it, but for $400 and it not even lasting 4 months before I get a popped screen with the oled smearing out of it? Nah, that's awful. I will never buy a fold ever again.

Great for Gaming and Reading
In one sentence: I would only recommend this if you like to play phone games or read. If not, you're probably fine with whatever you have now. I literally only bought this so I could read manga on the go, without having to carry a tablet with me. It is a stellar device, but for the price and supposed "longevity" of this phone, I wouldn't recommend it to the Average Joe. I don't like reading 30 page reviews, so I'll do "quick" bullet points: -folded screen is a bit slim for two hands, and unfolded is difficult to one-hand, if not impossible for those with smaller hands. -modern phones are so stupidly smooth that this thing NEVER feels safe in the hand without a case to add some grip. It is essentially the weight of 2 phones in one, so it is deceptively heavy. My case is Samsung's own leather cover, which does a great job of making the phone more comfortable in the hand without adding bulk. It is pictured above and as you can see it is very minimal ( since you probably can't even tell.) (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0977JZH1C) -All apps will default to a certain orientation on the internal screen, but there is a Labs feature in the setting that allows you to freely rotate any app to see which you prefer (portrait v landscape.) Super appreciated, but does "break" some apps as they don't know what to do with the extra space and just leave black bars, or crop themselves weirdly. Some apps do work great either way though, as pictured in Gems of War. -Outside of the folding-screen part, this is still just a phone. Great displays, great performance, but still does all the things your phone already does, so personally I don't think there's a lot to add in that regard. I've only had the phone for 2 days at this point, so I will follow-up if things start to fail, but even now I would say unless you have a specific need for a phone like this, you'd be better off getting something else. It'll be cheaper and last longer (probably.) But hey, it IS a phone that unfolds into an 8 inch tablet, and that's freaking cool, so 🤷 -90 Days Later- Unfortunately the phone still works 100%, and with the 90-day-return window passed the Amazon Renewed program covers, I dread the moment the the phone starts to fail because I have only loved it more every day, and know that if it does break I will just buy another one.

Surprisingly good purchase.
Posting a review a couple months after buying the refurbished version of this phone. Overall i am really happy with the device and the amount of money i saved by buying it refurbished. Product felt new, Pretty powerful phone and honestly being able to adjust a lot of settings to conserve on battery are really nice. It even has a lot of built in UI options just for this kind of phone so you can decide how you want to use the larger screen when unfolded. Downsides are that the battery can drain pretty fast when in normal use use. I don't think this is is the issue of the replacement battery but more of the fact that it has to power both screens and have higher quality picture. If full day use, needs a one time daily charge. If half day or less use, Can go without 2 days without charging. The system even has a setting to where you can set the battery to charge only 85% to preserve the overall life. As well i found it was suggested to turn off fast charging in the options to have less ware on the battery life over time. The system has tons of options for maximum optimal battery use and efficiency which really made the phone feel like it can last as long as it normally would, So that's been super useful. Also there is no standard headphone jack in the device which is a bummer, But the actual stereo/sound system on the phone its self is really good, very clear bass. I'm surprised how much i used both screens equally though, Getting used to the folded narrow screen to a bit but i got used to it after a while. Unfolded is great for watching videos & movies, Playing games and any other tools that might perform better on a larger screen. Hard to go back to the normal phone format after having this for a while now. You will definitely want to get a case for this phone but, Very happy with the product though.

Great screen size, but freezes alot.
I love the idea of this phone so much, but it freezes and crashes all the time. When it's overloaded, the speeds are horrible. I have to lock and unlock the phone to get a response at times. When its sluggish it also takes a bit of time for it to load 1080p and up quality wise. It does have some positives too. I had a note 20 for 4 years before I bought this, and it's max volume is louder than my previous device. A very beautiful and bright display when I'm showing it off to people.my previous device was 128 gbs, so 256 has been lovely since they took away memory card slots. The phone I purchased seemed brand new. They cleaned it up very well. Transferring everything was flawless since I've been a galaxy android user since 2012. All in all, the phone is pretty cool. I get looks every time I open it. But for this price, your better off trying the fold 4 or higher.

Just Like New
You could not tell this was "Renewed!" -- it was like spanking new. Am loading my software on it -- everything is working smoothly, no scratches, etc. But real test will come with some time-- condition of battery. Too soon to comment on that. I bought same model over a year ago, and this phone is a bit updated.

Near excellent condition!
It seems almost rarely used and clean & sharp conduction! Also this Z Fold3 gives me a different world of using smartphone - small enough when folded and decent front screen as well as most important smooth & wide unfolded screen. Great choice!

Publicidad engañosa
La publicación indicaba el estado del teléfono como "Excelentes" condiciones, la pantalla exterior llego rayada, tenía un parpadeo al utilizarla, y la pantalla interior nisiquiera sirvió.
