I have been using this with my mom for about a week now. It fits her well and I really like that there are a few options for where I can grab the belt to help guide her.

The quality is very good! At first, I thought this product was not easy to use. Later, I found that it should be placed at the waist, which is the same position as the belt, and it is very easy to use.

I have Multiple Sclerosis and I am in a wheelchair. I need this in case something happens and my wife can use this to help me. This is well made and very sturdy.

So easy to use to help with transferring my husband after his stroke.

This transfer/gait belt is very useful for anyone with an unsteady gait or with impaired mobility. The seams are well made and reinforced. The fabric is a sturdy nylon.There is no padding on the belt. Its fine for my husband to help me after my knee surgery because I'm well padded ;) but if this were used on a fragile elderly person, I could see issues with the rough fabric and lack of padding. The other problem I have is the buckle. The buckle seems sturdy but traditionally, plastic buckles are notorious for failing. I'm not sure I want to trust my loved one's safety to plastic....
