ALMOST a serviceable smartphone!
ALMOST a serviceable smartphone. For starters – I personally LIKE smaller phones – so the 4” display, quad-core MT chip/1GB RAM and Android 6/M were what attracted me to this phone.I gave it 2 days of rigorous testing: I had no issues with the OS (a nearly stock Android 6/M); the phone ran smoothly and multi-tasked well. The display was good (better than early BLU phones) and bright. Camera was adequate; bluetooth and wi-fi functioned correctly. Weak spots were the speaker (call/audio quality was poor), the lack of LED for notifications (no flashing LED for message/missed call/etc) and poor battery life - not because of some hardware drain but it's a small battery (although I did NOT get a full 3-cycle charge/discharge done before I packaged the phone up for return and yes, I had “battery optimization” turned on for all applicable apps and a 15-sec screen timeout set). No issues integrating a micro-SD card (32GB was all I had laying around) and the AT$T SIM was instantly recognized (I did not have to adjust any APN settings) the phone immediately went to HSPA+ (3.5G+). All things considered not a bad phone for the $50.00 price point. Lightweight, reasonably small and got the job done…mostly…The deal breaker for me was the GPS system/chipset; GPS apps confirmed it was seeing satellites - but the phone was unable to determine where it was consistently - result was that neither Waze nor Google Maps were able to navigate correctly - as the phone frequently lost it's "fix". Both apps constantly recalculating routes from various points - the phone was basically "lost" (and before you comment I tried both "high accuracy" and "GPS only" location settings, location share settings all correct and the phone was placed under windshield where it could “see” satellites). If the phone was stationery locations were accurate to within 16ft. I don't know if this is a defect or some function of a wonky SOC - I would have exchanged and tried again (and I still might) if there was one available. I do use a phone for navigation - so this was a deal breaker.Personally I believe there’s a market for smaller, functional phones (like they have everywhere ELSE on the planet except here in the US) and this one is on the verge of being serviceable. Hope that helps!

Not as advertised
I'm somewhat disappointed at this phones performance. The battery goes from 100 to zero in two hours if you as much as surf the web or performing a download. At times when in standby mode I can't switch it on to make a call it just hangs and two minutes later it switches on.It keeps kicking the external SD card out making it difficult to access filesDownloads take forever. No it's not the carrier my other phones function just fineIf you just want to make and receive calls and basic stuff its the smart phone for you but if you are like me whose work is 60% phone dependent this is not the phone for youThe frustration alone will kill youI have to invest in a power bank just to keep from being offline

very basic not 4G not recommended
it is very basic 2G or 3G only, it is not compatible with 4G nor with LTE nor with WCDMA, it is Android 6 , but with features of Android 5, I do not recommend, I bought another phone 2.54 inches with less money and it was dual sim / cameras and 4G and more features even was Android 5.1

Not the greatest but what could you ask for for around 50$
Not the greatest but what could you ask for for around 50$? It works fine but the screen scratches extremely easily and the screen protector it came with had specks and stuff under it, i'd just replace it for a better one.

Decent for the price
I had so many different phones. The last phone I had was a iPhone 6s plus. I gave it to my mom. (personal reasons) so I just bought this phone a month ago. And it works fine. I mean for $50 you are not gonna get a $300+ quality. The camera is not that good and the speakers are not that clear but once again for $50 ????? Not bad at all

Not great
The gps doesnt really work most of the time. sound is never really clear. Im having a tough time with this even as a backup phone, though I shouldnt have expected more from a $50 phone.

I'd give 0 stars if I could!
Worst phone I've ever seen. It's starting to fall apart. The battery will go from 100% and just immediately wipe to 0%. Won't charge half the time. Not worth even spending $5 on. Maybe rhis is an isolated case of a defective phone, I don't know. But I've never been so disappointed in a purchase in my life.
