Tough Pad
So unlike most other reviewers I did not purchase these pads for sports or a profession like tile work. I purchased these pads because I was a scare actor for a haunted Halloween trail that goes through the woods outdoors.Crawling around on the ground outside with sticks, roots and rocks without any more protections than blue jeans have to offer, my knees would be shredded and sore by the end of the night. After buying these pads, all that went away. I was able to slip these on and they fit perfectly concealed under my jeans and I felt nothing the ground had to fight my knees with. I only wish I had thought to purchase these years ago. Even taking a short dive (from standing) to the ground felt much better, but I wouldn't ever say these are padded enough for big jumps or anything like that. So, if you're a physical performer on stage or outdoors and you want to give the audience your all falling to your knees for a big emotional scene or crawling around like a monster on the forest floor outside, these are the perfect light pads for you. Your knees will thank you.(Note: You only receive a single pad per purchase, so be sure to change the order quantity from one to two.)

Beware if you have skinny legs
I am 5'7 and 130 lbs and got the small. This is an awesome brace and seems to do the job of protecting my knee while wrestling! That being said, I need to pull it back up quite often because even the small is a bit too big for me.

Comfortable, supportive, good shock absorption
I ordered these to use for MMA class. Practicing take downs initially hurt my knee and caused swelling, and I wanted something to protect it.I find that it stays put and the pad, while thin, is actually very good at absorbing the shock and it doesn’t hurt my knee to repeatedly practice take downs. Also feels supportive and comfortable.I find it a bit of a struggle to put on, but very easy to take it off; I just peel it down so it’s inside out as it comes off. These make me feel like I’m not limiting myself in class.I recommend these to anyone who wants to do things that are hard on the knees, but wants to give them support and a bit of protection.

Great cushion
Wear the knee braces in Jiujitsu and provide good cushion for takedowns. I got the small and wear a supportive knee brace underneath to help hold them up. I’m 5’4 117lbs so the small does slip a little
