Woof, Are these safe for the microwave? Thanks

Just purchased this. Using it in our new microwave at work it shuts the microwave off after about 15 seconds. This does not happen for other mugs in our office or anything else, just this mug. So it may say safe for a microwave but not for our microwave :(

Is this made in China?

I have mug in unopened box. The box is labeled made in china.

OK, mow many ounces does it hold really? Lots of contradictory info in reviews.

This quirky green stoneware mug is the perfect gift for anyone with a deep appreciation for man's best friend. It features a paw print design and the saying "Everything Tastes Better With Dog Hair In It". The mug measures 5.25" L x 3.75" W x 4.57quot; H and holds 16 oz. of liquids.

Is this a flat bottom mug or does it concave?

It's not completely flat on the bottom. When you say concave, a small lip is on the out side of the bottom.
