Really cool and worth the money!
I got this on sale for $10.99 but I would buy it full price as well. It is nice wood and sounds lovely. I was also happy it came with a mini one too! I haven't figured out what the red stickers are for yet.Some tips to get it sounding it's best. When it arrived it was not tuned and sounded not the best. Make sure you read the booklet and download the app to tune. Use the hammer to tune it properly. Make sure the tines are lined up and not touching each other. They will move side to side as well as up and down. This goes for the mini one too. Another thing that helped get the best sound was pulling up ever so slightly on the tines to stretch them a little. This helped me get the best sound from the highest pitched tines which do not resonate as much as the longer lower pitched tines.

Well-made things and you get a free 8-key kalimba with the big one
I bought two 8-key kalimbas to give to neighborhood kids but my girlfriend snagged one of them so I came back to get another, and saw this combo. I bought two of these, swapped out one with the girlfriend and listened to her "ooh" and "ahh" over the big one, which sounds better than the little one and MUCH louder. So now I've come back and ordered three more of these combos.This combo is a great deal and would still be a great deal even without the smaller one included (shh!). The combo comes with an instruction booklet and a cute little hammer for tuning the keys. Everyone I know might end up with one of these combos this year!

What's The Most Unique Gift You can Give to a Concert Pianist?
This kalimba is packaged beautifully, complete with a smaller kalimba, thumb protectors, instruction manual, tuner, sturdy sack to carry it all around. It is beautifully made and absolutely charming. I couldn't think of a cuter and more fun gift to give to my friend who had just given an amazing Classical Piano recital! Flowers are great, but they are gone after a few days. She will have fun with this for months (or even years) ahead! The price point is also very pleasing!

Beautiful sound, easy to learn
Beautiful instrument with great sound quality. Purchased for a gift for a 22-year-old guy. Kept him engaged learning to play and was able to play a few songs in a really short time. Great item!

Sings very well
It is made of mahogany. The soundbox is so seamlessly put together with a nice finish. The keys are spaced well and it was easy to tune. The mini one is pretty cool too. The price is very reasonable and I really love this thing. 10/10
