It is not slippery and does its job and better price

I use these on my staub and le creuset cast irons when cooking. I don't leave them on, but when I pull stuff out of the oven or need to move things quickly and don't want to put on the oven mitts, these work great. They absorb and dissipate heat so my fingers stay safe and have a little guard in case I overreach. They clean easily too - I put them in the top rack of the dish washer if they do happen to get messy/greasy. Of course, you can't beat a glove, but these have seen significant use since getting them as I always seem to misplace my oven gloves, but these are always at the ready since they take up no space.

I recently bought a pot that has a handle that gets hot (that I definitely kept touching as a reflex). Having these holders helps move the pot around without burning myself. Overall they are lightweight, easy to store, and can fit most handles!

This product is worthless. It is loose on the handles and is not heat resistant.

I wanted these to work so much for a pot I purchased that has metal side handles however the darn things don’t stay on well at All and just slip around. Would be awesome if they had some way to grip on and stay
