This is a TUBING bender, not a PIPE bender! Use it on annealed copper tubing, like for HVAC. Others on here are trying to use it for 1/2" rigid pipe. Of course, that will not work! I find this to be excellent for the money! Works great, fits tubing precisely, makes clean bends, and it's aluminum, so it's light weight. The only slightly clunky thing is, to adjust the fixture clamp for different tubing sizes, takes a bit of a second - you have to unscrew a thumbscrew, move the fixture, and then screw it back together. Not a problem for hobby or homeowner use, but i wouldn't want a pro to use it 100x per day...

Bought this to fix a friend's boat awning support rod. Rod was bent and this tool allowed me to straighten it out without kinking. Very pleased.

A little awkward in tight spaces. Makes good bends with minimal collapse. Worth the cost.

This tubing bender worked great for the ¼" and ½" copper tubing I needed to bend. Also the seller went out of their way to give me some information about the materials I should be bending with this tool. I would recommend buying from this seller.

I needed to bend some copper tubing for a 60 gallon compressor I am rebuilding from parts scavenged from other compressors. This tool was delivered in a timely manner, ordered on Monday, delivered on Thursday, just in time for me to complete the re-piping of my compressor over the weekend. Tool is easy to use, no setup or special measurements needed. Hard to beat for the price.

It is made well, and worked well on some 1/4 and 6mm test tubing. I wanted to try on some 1/2, but I could not, because i should have measure the OD of my test tubing before. Id suggest to a friend, but just measure the dimensions of the tubing you intend to use it with.
