Wow. Wow. Wow. It’s just a high bay light but it made a huge difference. I do molecular and cellular science, and the facility still has everything lit by fluorescent bulbs. The light from the CFLs is of poor quality (a peaky and artificial spectrum) and terrible on my eyes. I hung this LED UFO light where I work, and it is like the lights have never been on. With 85+ CRI, the colors are now rich and distinct, and I can finally see the fine color and details of the samples I am working on. The 5000K light color that the LEDs cast is a natural clean white that makes everything look very vibrant.Hanging this UFO light was easy. I affixed the "O" ring and tightened its screw. There was already an anchored hook to hang it from and I clipped the safety wire first to a suspension cable and later to a joist. The power cable is five feet long with a 3-prong plug and I plugged it into a switched outlet on the joist.The whole light feels sturdy and substantial, and only weighs in at about 4.5 pounds. I first hung it quite low (about 8 feet up) on a cable, thinking that it would not cast the light brightly enough. I ended up raising it to somewhere about 12-14 feet up and the disc of light it casts is perfect for me.The heat dissipation seemed excellent, and while the light warms up, as a high-power light might, after having it on all day (over 8 hours), when I went to raise it, it seemed just moderately warm.This has the CE mark, meaning it complies with European Norms and meets the safety standards specified by the European Union for construction. Further it has a RoHS mark (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) indicating that it meets the EU rules restricting the use of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment to protect the environment and public health.It was well packaged, well made, and has been doing its job flawlessly every day!!

I recently purchased a bay light for my garage, and I have been thoroughly impressed with its performance. The light has made a significant difference in the overall illumination of my garage space.The brightness is outstanding and provides wide light coverage, making it much easier to work on my go kart, organize tools, and work on projects. Unlike my old fluorescent lights, this light saves me a headache without flickering or needing replacement bulbs. Installation was relatively straightforward, you just attach the hook to a cable and hand it up. It also comes with a chain that I believe holds the light up in case the cable ever detaches. The startup is quick and the light turns on about 1-2 seconds after plugging in (likely due to power build up needed). The durability of the light is another plus. It feels sturdy and well-built, made completely out of metal. I will update if anything goes wrong but it has worked amazingly for me in the past few weeks!

I liked the look, they installed in minutes, very bright white light. loved them until they started to go out. one at a time after about 6 months. They dont last very long. we installed 4 about one year ago, three have already failed.

The name says 'super bright' ... and this is that. It's a simple plug-and-play light, so keep in mind that you may want to plug it in to a switched outlet. The think I was surprised by when opening the package is the heft of the light housing. It's all metal - which of course makes it an effective heat sink and radiator so the lights don't overheat, but also means that it's solidly built and should stay safe a long time in any place where it could possibly get bumped or knocked. You'll want to hang it by a hook or such and it's a good idea to use the wire cable tether too, just in case the hook comes out or a knock pushes it off the hook. Really great option at a good price for a very bright flood light.

If you are looking for brightness you can look no further. This light provides all the light you need and more. It is very easy to install – just make sure you have it anchored into solid wood because it has some weight to it. There is also a safety cable to use (just in case) There is no on/off switch – it just turns on after a second or so once you plug it in. It’s great for the garage or that dark basement. This is a good sturdy product and the light output is exceptional.

Very easy to hook up and this thing produces a ton of light in my garage!

Ordered 15 of these for my shop. First impression - very bright. They do have a short delay when turning them on and they do make some popping noises when turned off.It's been 12 months and one of my lights is already defective and no longer lights up.It’s Dec 2024 and my 2nd light quit working. Ugh.

Great light, maybe a little pricey. wish it came with a hanger for the eye bolt.
