Excellent value for the money!
Purchased as a gift for a young person in our church to use in college. Wish I could address all of your questions, but I can't. Do wish there had been a instruction manual with the computer - now that would have been very helpful! Do believe, based on my IT guy, got a excellent value for the dollars invested. He stated this was a first rate computer and would provide many hours of work and enjoyment for whomever used it.

A great value really
Fantastic product ordered from Networkstore, who did a phenomenal job handling the order. I like this model year because it was the first year the space gray went touchbar. You get the awesome Space Gray look without the $2.5k Space Gray price when new. i9 Yo - who do you really know uses all of that bandwidth at home? It was really meant for a business application eg LLMs AI crunching scientific etc and it's remarkable you get a computing lab in a small slab. The ultra low profile keyboard does take some getting used to as the designers went deep with ergonomics -- some say to a detriment -- the keys have very little travel and resemble push buttons on cars but one thing is for sure you get the ultra modern look and feel without the ultra modern price. Networkstore save another for me!

Battery and keyboard issues make this less of a good deal
I have bought and used a number of refurbished Macs, so I definitely don't expect them to be like new when I receive them. I had a 2017 15" MacBook Pro in the past, so I am familiar with the keyboard issues with the butterfly switches. I expected to have some issues with the keyboard on this Mac since it uses the same type of keyboard switch. It turns out that it has issues with repeating keys (especially the Delete, Spacebar, and letter I) when the keys are only pressed once. This is not a deal breaker alone, so I kept the laptop and used it for a while longer. The laptop arrived with a Service Recommended notification for the battery, which was also not unexpected in a refurbished Mac. The charge still lasted a few hours unplugged, which was good enough for me. However, after about a month of usage, the battery life has drastically reduced and the laptop has shown signs of charging difficulties. I left it plugged in over night and woke up to a 1% charge - no change after about 10 hours. There are also some small scratches on the screen, but those are again expected in an older, used laptop.None of these issues on their own would be problematic enough for me to leave a bad review, but everything together makes me consider returning it. I have another month to return it, so maybe I'll give it a few more weeks to see if I'm satisfied enough. Don't get me wrong, the price was fantastic for the hardware I received. But I am a software developer and security researcher, so losing portability due to the battery life and having to frequently retype code and passwords due to randomly repeated characters is frustrating. The Delete key is especially irritating, as it will sometimes backspace over multiple characters at a time when I am only trying to correct a single one.

Great machine
This has been a great machine. Everything works as expected and is in really good shape for a refurbished machine.

Defective Touch Bar
I received the 2018 Macbook Pro on time and was very disappointed with the product because it was delivered with a Touch Bar that does not work at all. The Touch Bar screen displays but does not respond to touching. It's a shame that I can't return the device because, as a officer on a cruise ship, I have to leave the US and go back home.

Exceptional Customer Service
I must commend the exceptional professionalism and customer service I experienced. I bought a 15-inch MacBook with an i9 processor, 32GB RAM, and a 1TB SSD, but it arrived with a few issues: the touchpad was not fully functional, the battery needed servicing, and the top panel of the computer seemed somewhat worn. When I contacted customer service, there was some initial back and forth, but their team addressed my concerns with remarkable respect and professionalism. Their dedication is impressive; even though I initially faced problems, they went above and beyond to resolve them, treating me like family and showing genuine care. I highly recommend purchasing from them; their professionalism is undeniable.
