JANZ 24 FT Pressure Washer Telescoping Wand with Extension Wands

I used the JANZ 24 ft telescoping pressure washer for the first time today to clean my 2nd story gutters (inside and outside). I had to extend all the way out to 24 ft in order to reach them and I can confirm that it is a workout but can be done. It becomes difficult when you have a higher pressure spray nozzle attached at the end and you engage the trigger on the spray gun. Be prepared for the end to start traveling in the direction opposite to where the end is pointing. This seems to be a quality built tool. I was concerned that it would be flimsy and while it did arch some when fully extended with the brush connected at the end, it was still plenty sturdy enough. Look for the word "Stop" on the last extension (the one with the attachment) and don't go past that point. That will help to provide even more support. I used all three of the wand attachments and found the right angle attachment to be the least helpful. The vest: when I first put on the vest, I saw what others were complaining about. I am 6' 4" and 215lbs so it did seem small and it didn't seem to really help when I was spraying. But then I realized that when you click the vest in to the wand, it can free both hands to be used to control and position the wand as you spray. This can be done by engaging the clip on the spray gun trigger to keep the spray always on. Then you don't have to use one hand to hold the trigger and can instead position your hands as necessary further up the padded area of the wand. When you are ready to lower the wand, you can reach back to the spray gun and disengage the trigger clip. All in all, very happy with this purchase.

Used it to clean gutter outsides (mold) and windows on a 2 story house. Well built and heavy. I had no issues with it and I saved a lot of money vs hiring someone. The harness helps a lot. It can be hard to control and tiring when fully extended. Highly recommend it for others that need it for applications like mine or gutter cleaning on 1 story house. Lots of great attachments for different uses.

This thing is a game changer. Very solid construction, with a ton of accessories. Worked great. 4 instead of 5 stars because I had a couple issues with the harness. I made the harness as small as I could, but it still hangs a bit low making it hard to reach the trigger.

Don't waste your money on this piece of crap. Simple small things break easy (water connection points and threading on harness). But when it worked it worked good enough to clean one side of my house. Then the Item hard breaks (I got a replacement). First use on the new replacement, harness hard breaks before I start the other side of the house.

This thing is awesome. I was finally able to clean my two story house and gutters without risking my life in a ladder. This thing can be a lot to wrangle, especially when it is extended way out. A few lessons learned…. First, the included harness doesn’t really do anything if you wear it as intended. However, I found that if I put my head and arm through one strap and tightened it up to where the buckle was right at my chest it made a perfect support and pivot point. Second, don’t put the nozzle where you want to spray and then pull the trigger. It will flex and move a ton. Better to get it to your working height and point it away from your work area. When you engage it and it flexes, take a second to get it under control. Then you can move it back to your work area a lot more easily. It’s big and it’s heavy, but it does a great job once you get the hang of it. Seems well built and I expect it to last with the kind of occasional use I will have as a homeowner.

The wand is 21 ft., not 24 (21ft + 3 ft from ground to wand). The manual that came with the product did not contain any explanation about what the different nozzles are used for. I did a google search for 'JANZ TW-004 manual' and found one that had a table with the various nozzles and their respective uses. I printed the table and added it to my manual. The high pressure hose that came with my pressure washer had male quick connects on each end. The Wand has a male quick connect, so I had to order a female-female quick connect. If you have the same issue, make sure you get a 3/8 inch quick connect, and NOT 1/4 inch (which I did. TWICE.). Now for the use of the wand: Gutters My pressure washer is 2500psi. The wand is rated for 4000psi. Even at 2500psi, if you're doing gutters, you need some serious upper body strength! Now, granted, I'm 69 years old, but, the wand is hard to control, especially as you extend sections of the wand (extend the thickest sections first). Also, I have leaf guards, so I have to hover above the gutter to remove accumulated pollen, dust, and debris, so I'm at a disadvantage. Start at the end of the gutter opposite from the downspout and work your way to the downspout. Siding For vinyl siding, the wand was quick work! I did my whole house in less than one hour! Conclusion The product is constructed/designed nicely. It is rugged, works well, and makes quick work of a gutter cleaning or siding cleaning.

The telescoping wand works very well once you figure out the best position to stand to use it and how to balance the force of the pressure. I found if you stand 8 to 10 feet back from the surface you are cleaning, it kinda helps balance it self being extended out to near the maximum height. It cleans very efficiently and adapts easily with included fittings to my Greenworks 2500 PSI machine. Telescoping adjustment is very easy but just make sure the hose is lined up to go straight into the bottom of the handle before pulling out the extensions. Very pleased with the wand itself. The included harness, not so much.!!! It’s cheap made junk. The threads ripped out of the one strap just putting it on for the first time. I chunked it in the land fill basket and ordered a heavy duty harness from Amazon.

OK... I've just finished using it and this thing is good. I'm impressed. I had one heck of a time removing the spray gun from my old (1800psi) Ryobi pressure washer. Once I did, this item had all the parts I needed to connect. I then had problems getting it to work :-( until I realized it was "operator error." (In other words, my fault.) After that everything went very well. The variety of end attachments are a must to have when it's extended and you can't see what you're doing: cleaning my window sills upstairs needed the "gutter" attachment. One thing that almost made me give it 4 stars instead of 5 is that black coiled up hose on the handle. (Do you see it on the pictures in Amazon?) That hose connects from itself to itself... it doesn't connect externally. Listen... when the item is fully extended and full of water it becomes heavy. This coiled hose adds to that weight you have to manipulate. As far as I can tell the manufacturer only needs a really short hose installed on the handle. (Maybe their hose supplier didn't have anything shorter???? Maybe they think it acts as a counterbalance since it's on the other side of the point where the harness hooks up????) Anyway, I'm pleased in spite of this.

The wand itself is pretty good. It extends full length and isnt as wobbly as I expected. It is however really unstable at full length because it has so much leverage against you arms. Spraying it helps because it acts like a rocket pushing the pole upwards, it lessens the load on your arms. If you spray side to side it's really hard to control because there's so much force and it has so much leverage on you. I bought a separate nozzle with two rotary tips spraying left and right which stabilizes it when spraying. The thing is manageable with a single person but much better if you have two. My wife refuses to help me, if you're in that situation you might want to try getting a new wife but I dunno, the next one is probably similar. Or you can try having sons rather than daughters.

Much better than I was expecting. It is quite heavy and at 24 feet and filled with water, it would be difficult to use without the harness that is provided. There are lots of different options included with this and I expect these will all be used at one time or another. I am very happy with this purchase.

Broke the first week I used it….
