I LOVE this bag! I spent weeks comparing computer messenger bags online before deciding to purchase this one. I love it because the leather is sturdy, but not too hard, which allows the bag to stand on it's own without having to lean on a wall or a chair. In addition, the measurements of this bag fit my laptop, several books, my water bottle, and pencil case with plenty of room to spare. If you are looking for simple, good quality, affordable leather, this is the bag for you!

I’ve had it for awhile and still love it

Great looking, well made, nice liner material. A couple coats of leather conditioner rehydrated it and could probably use another coat or two. Shoulder strap pad is a bit thin and weak and there was a small tear in the handle’s leather wrap. The two buckle closure straps have different thicknesses and textures, but not a huge deal as they are not load bearing. A bit front heavy when empty and on the larger size for air travel, but fits under the seat and in overhead compartments with ease. I would definitely purchase again and recommend.

The first thing I did was to put my new, hulking 18" laptop in this baby. This is the perfect satchel for a man -- roomy and rugged with a nice minimalism, and a ton of character. There are two nice wide pockets inside, with a zippered compartment in the lining which can hold pens, pencils, etc. And then there are the two outside pockets, perfect for a phone in one, and a day planner or charging cable in the other. The only thing lacking that I can point out is the padded pocket, which is a sparse foam partition at best; but don't let that turn you off. I'm really, really pleased and I recommend this satchel highly. I'm going to hold onto this for a long time.

Overall the bag is nice. I like the leather and it arrived as expected. The first time that I used it the hook from the strap broke. Now it's hooked to the side of the briefcase which is fine but it's a bit wonky. You get what you pay for.

I bought this shoulderbag, since I had my backpack in use for work for about 8 years, and it started to look a bit sorry for itself. My goal was to find an item that could deliver the same usability and a superior durability. I also wanted something that would look rather fancy. I work as a highschool teacher, and I always have to take some papers home to mark, and I need my laptop, and so on. All that stuff I need to haul around fits into this bag. It looks very nice and sturdy. For the quality of the product even a higher price would be acceptable. Seriously. In my experience leather holds up a lot better than any artificial fiber. Plus, with some age it tends to look even better. (Unlike other materials) Overall, I recommend buying this product.

Ok… so first of all on the positive side… this bag is very tough and hearty. It’s made from water buffalo or buffalo of some kind so it’s about 2/3 thicker than normal cowhide would be, which is what I was looking for. Secondly it’s got a very nice color to it that’s rich and I feel like it will wear like an Indians Jones bag over time which will give it great character…. Like a new pair of western style Levi’s jeans; you put them on and they’re solid and tough, stiff and needing to be sweated through to break them in… but once you do they’re your favorites for life . This bag is like that. Ok, next, when you open it they laced the inside with thicker almost old fashioned table cloth like cotton fabrics that’s plaid but brown and white, which matches the bags aura perfectly. Looks cool and my Bible fit in there perfectly along with my hymnal and note pad and pens. Anyway, I can read about the lost Arc of the covenant, like Indians Jones as I cary my ancient Bible around in style. Ok, the entire bacg including the flap, pockets and pocket straps is all tough leather… here’s the only issue with it that I’ve got… the shoulder strap is ok but the “brass” pelican clips and the loop attached to them are somewhat cheaper. I used mine for just one regular, non Archiological dig type use and boom, one of the hooks pulled right through the brass loop ring (bad design for those). Now, I went and bought replacements (also brass looking) and they were too small. So if you buy this bag (and you should because the cheap clips are the only issue and the bag is great) then plan to buy some stainless hooks and make sure they’re like 3 inches wide AMD you’ll be fine. Bag will outlast the metal knockoff fasteners that are probably made in Yousuckistan

I worried about getting this bag because so many reviews complained about a smell. I have no idea what they were talking about! Mine didn’t smell at all. I was even hoping it would smell like leather. I get so many compliments on this bag from men and women. It’s sturdy and beautiful, with just enough distressing to look old and worn. I call it my Indiana Jones bag. I plan on using my acrylic leather paints to paint the inside of the leather flap and saddle soap to keep the outside conditioned and healthy. And the price point is unbelievable. I seriously LOVE this bag!

I like that this messenger bag was brown and not red/orange like others. You often order brown and it shows up very red or orange. But this bag is brown and over time will have the weather look I like. Very well crafted and sturdy.

Listen. This arrived within 3 days and I'm blown away with the quality. Heavy-duty rings for shoulder strap. Buckels are strong and well made. The leather looks great and is thick high quality. Extremely well built product. Definitely recommend.

I the laptop holder I ordered showed it came with two lockable straps with key, the bag I received don’t have the lockable straps, what I saw advertised was misleading
