"Kids will enjoy reading and handling this book." – Kirkus Reviews Discover interactive learning fun for little hands: Child development specialists have shown that children learn best when they acquire knowledge through multiple senses. Not only sight and sound, but touch as well, are critical elements in their development. Children love learning to name objects, and they are in for a multisensory treat with this big interactive book. It is the perfect baby shower gift! • Contains 150 words and 30 touch-and-feel elements that will keep little minds and little fingers engaged through every page • Features many things familiar in a young child's world, like a soft blanket, the smooth skin of a dolphin, and a rough-textured sack • Xavier Deneux's chic, bold style and insightful grasp of what makes younger children think, connect, and smile has resulted in over 100 critically lauded books This generously oversized volume of Touch! My Big Touch-and-Feel Word Book helps young readers build vocabulary and develop picture and word associations. • Great family read-aloud book • Books for kids ages 1–4 • Books for preschool and kindergarten children Review: A fabulously innovative, unique board book that can be used as a learning tool ... - There are all kinds of board books, but once again, none quite as fun as the ones Xavier Deneux creates. Yes, these are simply works of art for the preschooler to explore. They’re a wonderful way to introduce the world around us via the sense of touch, a wonderful way to introduce them to the written word. Similar to the TouchThinkLearn books, this is an oversized picture book that can be worked with on a table. No doubt, when you least expect in, the pages of this book will be turning. Homeschoolers will definitely jump at the chance for the opportunity to introduce this tactile marvel of a book to their little ones. Each one or two-page spread introduces an activity or a group of things that are familiar to preschoolers. These pages include Meal Time, Bedtime, Playtime, Bath Time, Clothes, At the Market, At the Table, On the Road, Animals with Short Hair, Furry Animals, Animals with Smooth Skin, Animals with Rough Skin, Animals with Scales and Shells, and Birds. Combined with a wide variety of tactile experiences, this book is an excellent learning tool. The tactile “experiences” are quite varied and present a wide variety of unique Touch-And-Feel Elements. This is a fun, fascinating book that is the perfect complement to the TouchThinkLearn series of books. Whenever someone wants a recommendation for young children, this is the direction I point them in. These books will definitely awaken any preschooler’s sensory system with the Touch-And-Feel Elements, the vibrant colors, familiar items, new words, and little surprises like that sticky piece of toast! The intended age group for this Touch-And-Feel book is 2 – 4, but for the younger set, I’d certainly recommend some supervision. TOUCH THINK LEARN: TouchThinkLearn: Farm TouchThinkLearn: Vehicles TouchThinkLearn: Baby Animals TouchThinkLearn: Homes TouchThinkLearn: Colors TouchThinkLearn: Opposites TouchThinkLearn: Shapes TouchThinkLearn: Numbers TouchThinkLearn: ABC This book courtesy of the publisher. Review: Fantastic. Instant hit and is sticky tost really a problem? - This the the most fantastic touch anf feel book we own. I am surprised to so many negative reviews specifically around to the sticky tost. I get how the pages can get stuck and could be destroyed. This didn't happen in our case because on the first read my kiddo touched it like hundred times taking the stickiness down a notch. I love this sticky part as it explores texture without the mess (otherwise I would have to let my kiddo play with honey. Lol). Other textures are also fantastic, and book has so many "items" to name my kid wants to to read it over and over and over again. All off the critical reviews (taking the rating down to 1 star for the sticky tost) seem so harsh and unfair for this publisher. Great book, in fact this will become my go to toddler gift among family and friends with little ones.

Gorgeous Book with Great Textures
My son loves loves loves this book. This is hands down the best touch and feel book I’ve ever come across. My favorite is the sticky toast! My son loves to press against the toast and say “sticky”. There’s so many different textures within this book and he’s learned so many words using this book. I’ve bought another copy for a friend and she was delighted over it! The whole party passed it around taking turns feeling the pages.

Nice textures, but pricey
This is a really nice book with a lot of cool textures for little ones to feel. There are about 2-3 touch pictures on each set of pages and the book has 11 sets of pages. Like other reviews stated, there is a page that has sticky toast that sticks to the other page (pictured). There was no plastic covering at all over that picture when it arrived. I thought the price was a bit steep for what it was, but there are a lot of great pictures and words to teach young kids.

A tip for the sticky Toast! Read this if you’re going to buy!
I painted two coats of clear topcoat on the sticky toast and let it sit over night. It is no longer sticky and it’s nice and shiny!

My toddler loved it!
My toddler LOVED this book. It is by far her favorite book. She can sit for 30 mins looking at it. 10/10. I just purchased another big book from this author!!

Not cheap
Really nice selection of touch and feels. Not too many cheapies like a simple foil. The sticky part is kind of awkward because you have to keep the backing on it or it sticks to the next page. For the most part each feeling spot is unique and my kid loves it.

15 mos old loves
A good value with many touch places and she LOVED the sticky picture . Walked around all day saying "sticky" But it was good to be warned by another reviewer about the potential hazard.

... for my daughter when she was 1 and she loved all the different textures and pictures in the book
I bought this for my daughter when she was 1 and she loved all the different textures and pictures in the book. She is 2.5 now and still loves looking through the pages and can name pretty much everything in the book. I have bought this book for several friends as well and always recommend it when people ask me what a good toddler gift would be!

Super libro!
Consigliato!

Very cute
Really nice! My 6month old loves looking at it and touching the different textures (tough the hair on the wolf let’s loose too easily, so she has a hand full of hair after ‘petting’ it :))
