Bought these to fit over 4" decking posts sadly they do not

These lamp posts are exactly what I was looking for. They look very nice and give a bright light at night on our deck. The only thing to watch our for is the screws are cheaply made and many got stripped just by screwing them in the posts.

Cheap plastic chotchkas... might even be good enough.
14 bucks a piece for pretty insubstantial, lightweight plastic, Chinese produced... plasticware.On the plus side, they are 2 to 6 dollars cheaper than what you can get at Home Depot, and essentially the same build quality. They **should** be rugged enough to last the two or three years I expect them to, so long as no one walks by and smacks them. They look good from afar, b ut upon closer inspection, they look a little "cheap", if you know what I mean. Still, not bad.On the minus side, they're cheap plastic trinkets from China. Plus, there is a lot of waste included in the packaging; adapters for BOTH 5x5 (who even uses these?!?!?) and 6x6. All in the recycling bin they go.I'll be happy if I get two or three eyars out of them
