Wheel of BASS 8" 500W Powered Car Subwoofer, 4 Ohm, Slim Cast Aluminum Design, Easy Install, Remote Bass Knob, for Trucks and Cars

The wheel of base works great, it was an easy install. (Didn’t come with control knob cord but Rockville helped me out). It is excellent in a 2 Dr Jeep JK and rounds out the sound really well. Like others have said, it’s not a box sub but I wasn’t looking for that level. It does what I want it to do and it’s held up for a month already.

I purchased this because my son wanted to add some extra bass to the factory system in his 2013 Ford Fusion. I've never been a fan of trunk-rattling subwoofers, but thought this under-seat model would be enough that he could hear/feel that extra low end and get a bit more out of his music. I was a bit skeptical seeing as how compact this model is, but we were both very surprised. Like other reviewers have said, don't expect this to wake up the neighbors. However, it's enough to round out the lower end of the sound spectrum and take some strain off of your woofers. Setup was fairly simple once we figured the best way to get through the firewall and wire it to the battery. The onboard controls make it a cinch to dial in the right frequency range, volume, and gain to complement the factory speakers. Our next step is to attach some passive crossovers to his door speakers and let the Wheel of Bass do the heavy lifting.

I was skeptical at about buying the under the seat subwoofer... But once I got installed it sound amazing it fills in the lows and make my Factory stereo sound amazing. After reading and watching reviews at the end of the remember is a single 8" sub... It's not going to sound like a box with 2 12's or 15's. I have a Mirage and I mounted under the passenger seat it sounds great.. I don't think it would be powerful enough to mount in the trunk unless you have a hatchback. Quality product and easy to install. I would recommend for users who would like a fuller bottom end on you music. I gave it a 8.5 out of 10 because I haven't had it long enough to rate the longevity over time I'm giving it a 8.5 if it last it will definitely get a perfect 10

This one won’t win you any stereo competitions but it sure will make your sound fatter and thumpier (if that is a word?) It would not fit under the front seat of my F 250 but fit nicely under the rear seat. It made my low priced Alpine stereo sound a hundred times better! I highly recommend this unit.

I bought it for my 2017 Silverado under the rear seat on the center hub and to be honest I wasn’t expecting anything crazy out of it but it has out done my expectations I’ve had it for about 7 month with no problems, I keep it just under half volume on the bass nob and it does damn good, install was straight forward and wiring wasn’t difficult even with stock head unit, Rockville is a good brand

Installed this in a UTV. Was very satisfied with the sound and size of the unit. It is mounted in a clean and dry location. After only about 4 months (maybe 6 rides) it has started messing up. Rough terrain must have messed it up I guess. After about 5 minute it just pulses. It does this even if you stop the music or unplug the inputs. It will do it until the power is shut off. I have reached out to Rockville and they want me to ship it back on my dime. Then if they don't find any reason not to honor their warranty (including return shipping damage) they will repair it if possible. What a PIA. I mean just send a new one for crying out loud. It's like a hundred dollar speaker. I will not be buying another Rockville product.

Does not have a rich deep bass sound I returned

After 4 try’s this is the ONLY one that fit under my passenger seat. I can’t believe how much bass it puts out. It can shake the mirrors or with the remote it can be turned down to a lower level. I didn’t want a big box and no one knows it’s there so it won’t get stolen. Anyone with a JK will love this tiny amp and sub. I took the seat out to install and relocated the two wires under the seat with an L bracket from Walmart. Recommend it!!!!

PERFECT FIT!! IM SUPER EXCITED! I am installing this into my ebike and so far everything is fitting just perfect! Just waiting for rhe rest of the components I bought to come in mail and I'll then upload a video review. Thanks Amazon!

Works great and wires up nicely on my 2013 Acura Ilx. Only problem I’ve encountered is the connections to the; power, ground and accessory is too close together and did not stay on nicely. I had to add ferrels and try to space them out. One time the accessory wire and power wire touched and blew the fuse to my stereo and the sub. At least nothing major broke.
