Absolutely Terrific
I bought one of these in October of '23, and it deserves a new up-to-date review. I just wish other appliances, or anything for that matter, lived up to expectations like this excellent little freezer has. For nearly two years mine has lived in my outdoor covered kitchen in Texas, where it has endured many 100+ days and 15 degree nights. Its performance has been flawless, keeping ice cream and many cuts of meat solidly frozen, no matter what. I have only had to defrost it once, and I think that was because a plastic bag kept the door from sealing tightly. I trust it so much I keep expensive briskets, steaks and pork butts in it without any worry. I freezes quickly. And it looks good. The stainless steel exterior has not dulled or changed color. The lock continues to work without problem. I haven't babied it, so it has accumulated a few slight bumps from being moved around, with no ill effect other than cosmetic. I am so impressed by this little freezer. It is absolutely worth the price and a recommend it without hesitation.

Piece of poop!
I purchase this item in 2021 and it came dented, but I was refused an exchange… Three months later the freezer kept overflowing into the refrigerator part and no one would return it for me… Now I have broken glass in the refrigerator and the bottom plastic tray has cracked in two places and another one that I keep jelly in and mustard broke today… I am beyond disgusted because Frigidaire is such a popular company or used to be… It would be wonderful if somebody would contact me and say how can we help you with this? How can we fix this? How can we help you order the right props? How can we fix the freezer… I won’t ever buy this product again, especially since I haven’t gotten a response. I also bought a larger one and the bottom tray and that one broke as well… I live by myself. I don’t have kids slamming things around. I’m very careful but the plastic is ridiculously cheap and then.

Very nice compact size and holds ALOT!
Very pleased with our Whytner 2.1 cuft freezer. It fits great under the counter and holds more than we thought it would. We love our fridge (Bosch French door bottom freezer) but we order from Royo (bread) and butcher box (meat) so we need more freezer space periodically. Right now we have 6 loaves of bread and about 10 lbs of various meats, which crams the freezer full but meets our needs. The set up was easy; just follow the directions. We have it set on level 2 and everything is frozen. We do have to move it out to set the temp level, but it is light weight and easy to move. Or frost free, which is better for longer term storage. Haven’t needed to defrost it yet. If that is a lot of trouble, I’ll post again.

Great Little Freezer but the Color doesn't seem right
I chose this particular freezer because of the Energy Star rating. After reading the instruction book and safety warnings, I decided to install it under the counter in a 24 inch wide cabinet with the doors removed. It fits like a custom order. After waiting 4 hours for the refrigerant to settle, I plugged it in and set it to MAX as per instructions. After 3 hours it had reached a temperature of -10 degrees fahrenheit plenty cold enough, perhaps even a bit too cold for my ice cream products. It is very quiet but if you listen carefully you'll be able to hear the compressor kick on and off, but you really need to be standing right next to it to hear anything so for me it definitely passes the quiet test.We are fully off grid so energy consumption played a big role in choosing this freezer. According to the handbook it draws 75 watts when the compressor is running which is for our needs great! I will keep an eye on it and will report back should the energy usage change. The freezer arrived in perfect condition (which was a concern of mine after reading so many reviews). My only surprise/complaint was the color of the "stainless steel" door. It looks almost bronze to me and it certainly isn't even close to matching the other stainless steel appliances in our kitchen, or the other pics in various reviews on Amazon. I have written Whynter customer support to see if I am missing something. The product seems well made and as long as it continues to keep my food frozen I am very satisfied.

Great freezer that gets much colder than my regular freezer
I bought this freezer because I didn't have enough space in my regular freezer. It was packaged nicely and arrived in perfect condition with no dents. It was very easy to set up. It comes with it's own ice scraper and tiny ice tray and the keys to lock the door with. It got very cold very fast and the ice froze quickly. Once the ice was frozen I started using the freezer the same day. Everything has stayed as cold as it should. It's so quiet. Due to lack of space, I actually have this in my bedroom, close to my head by my bed and it doesn't bother me at all. So that's impressive. The temperatures have stayed steady and cold as long as I don't open it to show it off or anything. Which is tempting, because I think it's pretty cute. There's a surprising amount of space in there. I can fit exactly three 32 oz hydrapeaks on the bottom and six on the top. There's a couple inches of wiggle room between them all. But that gives you an idea about the capacity. This is a very good quality freezer and I'm really happy that I was able to find it at such a great price.

Perfect little freezer!
Bought this freezer to store ice cream and treats as we only have a large freezer in garage and a large fridge only in the kitchen. Keeps me from running back and forth to the garage for ice cream and such. Very happy with it and offers enough space for small items. Great value for the price!

Invisible on your electric bill. Silent. 3 months review.
It can hit minus 10 no problem. Don't load it heavily with anything but pre-cold stuff on your first load because it's a tiny compressor and that extreme (relative) heat load puts big stress on it right out of the box. Manual says load it up 3 lbs at a time. I'm a one person residency guy with a very low 25.00 per month electric bill often so I'd see any addage easily, I haven't. The Energy Star rating is the sole reason I bought it and that was a fruitful extra outlay. Provided its lifespan is long, as in years, it's ten stars. I've never actually heard it run without putting my ear to its surface.
