I’ve used this straightening brush twice and I absolutely love it! It heats up quickly, glides smoothly through the hair, and gives a sleek, natural-looking result without frying my strands. My hair feels soft and looks polished after use.Just a quick heads-up for international buyers: this brush is designed for 110V voltage (US standard). If you’re using it in a country with 220V power, you’ll need a step-down voltage converter. I’m glad I double-checked before plugging it in — this is not dual voltage and could get damaged otherwise.Also, I live in a very warm and humid climate, and I found that using this brush during cooler months or winter feels much more comfortable — the heat is less overwhelming, and styling is easier.Overall, it’s a great tool, but do check your voltage first — and maybe save it for those chilly mornings!

Update: I just realized I didn’t mention anything about additional shine, which is probably why most customers would be interested in this brush. I have thick, coarse hair that tends to be a bit frizzy and almost devoid of shine. After using this product I will say I do notice a slightly increased degree of shine, but I would not be inclined to endorse it for this particular reason alone, as it’s only a minimal improvement.Overall I’m happy with the performance of this brush. I was looking for something to use on dry hair that would simply calm it down a bit and make it look more compact and less voluminous—not necessarily straighten it to the point where it was “as straight as a stick.” This accomplishes my goal by flattening out any unsightly bump or other minor out of place wave or bit of frizz, without the use of intense, potentially damaging heat. My only complaint is the placement of the buttons on the handle. If I hold it where it is most comfortable to use and balance the weight of the brush I find that I have the unfortunate tendency to press the on/off switch or temperature control. If I attempt to hold it in a location where I will avoid touching the control buttons, it feels unwieldy and off balance. This isn’t the first time I’ve had such a problem with a similar device, but I first encountered this years ago. I should think this type of problematic design flaw would have been avoided by now. In any event, I am keeping the brush because it quickly accomplishes the purpose without a great deal of skill required on the part of the user and without an intense amount of heat.

This straightening brush weighs a ton. It is too heavy and too large to use. I had to return it!

This straighten my hair pretty easy and quickly. The reason for four stars is, I couldn’t seem to curl my hair at all not even flip it out. If you’re looking for some thing that leaves your hair very straight then it works great.
