Very good, all-around functional kettle for a family. Sensible layout and functions. Powerful enough heater, brings water to boil quickly. The water boils at 197 deg F where I live but the heater is powerful enough to push water temp to at least 205F. Have not tried 212F yet, don't need it in the mountains. I'm sure the kettle will easily get to 212degF at sea level and moderate elevations. Nice to see the water bubbling. The "keep hot" for 2 hours function is great: keeps plenty of hot water on standby for more tea and coffee and while cooking and rinsing. Nice to have control over water temp from warm to hot. The spout does not spill or drip. It is open. Thinking the water would boil a bit quicker and hotter if the spout was sealed. Water stays in contact with glass and stainless only, the sealing silicone ring is under the glass carafe. The carafe itself is very light. Good spring connection of the carafe to the base. Easy to clean even mountain mineral-rich water deposits. Partly because of smooth materials and partly because of the wide top opening. The strainer is fine for preparing 4 cups or two 16oz mugs of tea/coffee at a time, or more. 500ml/ two cups of water do not cover enough of the strainer to soak tea leaves and esp. coffee (like in the photo). So to prepare only one mug of tea I use the kettle to boil water then brew in a press. The strainer handle is a useful feature. The temperature display lags the actual water temp. by a min or two. The kettle heats the water to the temperature I set ahead of the display value. Takes 2 wheel clicks to change a temp setting. Almost perfect. I'll be happy should it last as long as my retired ceramic Bella- 12 years or so.

Great pot for the price. Easy to use and keeps tea warm for up to 2 hours.

Mine just crapped out on me. I liked it quite a bit, but knowing the longevity, I will probably be replacing with a different model. We used it multiple timea a day many days, and it gave us good service, so I cant complain too much. Pros: -Specific temp control dial -Large capacity -Borosilicate glass -Zero plastic touching the water -Easy to keep clean -Stylish (IMO) Cons: -It was slower to boil water than some kettles I've used, but not bad. -It lasted less than 3 years.

The temperature control is failing on this kettle. I tried to boil water in a FOHERE kettle. Water started to boil while the display was showing 164F. The actual temperature of the water was much higher, but it did not shut off until the display slowly reached 212F which took approximately 7-8 mins. The water was boiling nonstop during this time and it was 1L of water in the kettle. UPDATED as of January 7, 2024. Received a replacement, the same kettle Fohere, from Amazon, and the temperature control is working well, the display shows the correct temperature and the kettle operates just fine. The Rating has been Upgraded to five stars.

Easy to use, clean and perfectly brews whatever type of tea I am brewing

This kettle is really difficult to clean because of the white plastic ring around the bottom. After just one month, it's already rusting underneath the white ring, and it's impossible to reach with a sponge. I'm a coffee fanatic, and I like my water temp at 195 F. Thought this kettle would be a good fit since it says it has custom temperatures. The custom temp dial can only be changed very slowly, so you have to slooooooooowly scroll the temp wheel to 195 with the temperature only changing about 2 temperatures a second. So frustrating that they don't allow you to modify one of the preset temps. As of a few days ago, the temperature reader doesn't even work. It just spits out a bunch of random numbers, so you don't know what temperature the water is. I wrote to the seller, and they asked me to email them a video in a Word document, which I don't know how to do. Wish I could just get my money back for this pile of junk. This is the last time I'll buy something from an unknown brand.

Had to replace a different electric kettle when I heard a strange noise and turned to see flames coming out from the bottom. Tried a different kettle before this one but realized that one contained plastic in contact with the water. A few things were very important in my search: 1. No plastic in contact with the water. This kettle is made of glass. The lid is made of plastic and stainless steel. The stainless steel, and not the plastic, faces the water. Perfect! 2. Programmable. There are preset temps, which are great. There’s also a custom temperature that stays until changed. But I don’t need to change it so it’s ready for me every time. One of the reviews mentioned the kettle rocks a bit while on its stand. This is true, and I wish it were more firmly seated. But it doesn’t affect anything and I’ve gotten used to it. Easy to read markings on the side. Keep warm function works but I decided to put the warmed water in a thermos.

Unit was delivered with in 2 days of ordering, nice! As per instructions unit was cleaned by washing parts and boiling water in the unit. I found the temperatures to be accurate within 2-3 degrees +. The keep warm feature works as described and does allow you to keep temp warm at a lower temp if desired. Example: Set to boiling at 200 degrees for coffee, then want to let water cool to 185 for tea. hit the keep warm button and set the temp to 185 with knob and once the water temp is reduced to 185, the keep warm feature kicks in. NOTE: the unit has an bonus feature that is not mentioned in the description; what ever temp you set, once it is reached, the unit will keep it at that temp for 10 mins. Images shows the 10 minute temperature hold. Never had on do that before! I like it. Another feature which should be added to the description instead of having some one as a question is the warranty, this is a HUGE purchasing factor for a lot of folk. The kettle comes with a 2-year warranty and a 6-month extension. For the extension, just send and email to '[email protected]' along with your Order Number from Amazon. I received an approval for the extension within minutes. Will come back to update if needed. **UPDATE 5/31/2023** So far so good! Its been over a year and still working great, that's a plus considering these kettles usually fizzle out in this time frame. My new favorite feature is the 2 hour keep warm which seems to reset itself if you add more water and reduce the temperature to less than 5-10 degrees from what it was set for. I don't know whether this is a glitch in the programming but I LIKE IT! Boiling speed and temps remain the same. I highly recommend this kettle!
