Biographie captivante
Magnifique biographie de la famille impériale (d’après leurs propres écrits et les témoignages de ceux qui les ont côtoyés) qui nous permet d’entrer dans leur psychologie et ainsi de mieux comprendre leur fin si tragique.

A Story of tragedy and horror, but also love
This book tells the story of the last monarch of Russia in a respectful and reverent manner. It is definitely a Christian story that might put off some readers, but it did not me. The Tsar, his wife the queen and the princes and princesses are held together by a loving bond that remained unbroken despite the terrible final year and a half of their lives. The crime that was committed, the horrific murder of the entire family and their staff, haunts the Russian people to this day, but this book treats them sympathetically and does not blame them along with the Soviet regime that ruled them. A hundred and two years on, I get the feeling from the pages that the Russian people have found new comfort and hope from their last Tsar. The book includes a picture section of beautifully remastered images rendered from photographs. They look like they were taken yesterday with modern cameras and bring the family magically to life. A lovingly written and designed book. no single author because the friars who produced it share their achievement.

Very Good Read
Romanov Royal Martyrs is one of the best works on the subject of the Romanov Family. It offers insight into thoughts and feelings of not only the family members, but others close to them through their writings, letters and diaries. Not to mention the vast array of images, some of which are colourised. For anybody interested in gaining further knowledge and insight into Tsar Nicholas II and his family, this comes highly recommended.

Lovely Book.
This is and excellent book and I was overjoyed to receive it. It is well researched using recently released documents from the Russian Archives and corrects many of the misconceptions and errors that were in previous books. There are many photographs including a section of colourised ones that really bring them to life and almost look like they were recently taken. If you want to read one book on the lives of Tsar Nicholas II and his family, get this one. I would definitely recommend it.
