As a life long Iron Maiden fan and avid collector of all sorts of Iron Maiden memorabilia its not often, or at all, that I am not happy with my purchase. But unfortunately that is the case with this item. I am surprised because I have a few Nemesis Now Iron Maiden pieces and they all are perfect. Not so with this one. For starters its wobbly. There is a bump or bulge of some kind on the bottom of the item thus it can not sit properly. Second, there is a tack-head sized chip on the back of Eddie's head. And lastly, the head does not fit on properly. You can clearly see that the hair strands don't line up unless you hold the head in place - let go and it slips and is no longer aligned properly. Huge disappointment. I am wondering if this item was purchased and returned and then resold to me - the box did not appear to be factory sealed and the Styrofoam looked like it had been previously removed from the box. Had dents in it and small chunks of it were missing. I know what your thinking why don't I return the item and get a refund. That's easier said than done. I am a senior with mobility issues, am on oxygen, and do not drive. To get to and from the closest post office would cost me 20 bucks in cab fare. That's half my refund right there! However, I am a MacGyver Girl and have fixed 2 of the three issues. I created a base by gluing a couple of pieces of thin cardboard together. I cut a small hole in the center of the cardboard where the bump/bulge will fit in. I then glued the cardboard to the bottom of Eddie. No more wobble! I also glued Eddie's head into place. I can no longer open the head to store things in the small space buts that okay, at least the head is properly aligned. I wasn't planning on using that small space anyways I just wanted the figurine itself. The small chip on the back of Eddie's head - its not visible when the item is displayed as its on the back. Its really too bad though, I was planning on purchasing some of the other Eddie bust box figurines but now I have to rethink that for a while!
