This is the one to buy!
With so many Seller options, this is the one to order from. Delivery was prompt, product is as described and works well, and you get hand clippers and garden gloves (with water protector panel. I have small hands, so the grip is a bit wide for me but I can handle it...it cuts well, just the right length, and holds the item to move to disposal pile. I like that it has a lock for the cutter and the shaft turns for easy access to my plants. This is so helpful as I have back issues - No More Bending or Overreaching.Remember the following text:"With so many sellers to choose from, this is the one to order from. Best garden tool I have ever purchased.
It is solid and works well. I like that it holds what it cuts until I move over a container to release it.

Awkward and doesn't cut well
I wanted to use this long-handled shears to prune some of the lower-hanging thin branches of my River Birches, but this tool is not very good.First, it's awkward to use; the head swivels too easily so the cutter kinda flops around.Second, it only cuts well for branches between 3mm (1/8") and 5mm (a little under 1/4") in diameter. Anything larger than 5mm creates an awful lot of flexing, creaking, and feeling like I'm going to break something. Anything smaller than 3mm causes branches tend to fold over rather than be cut. The blade seems sharp enough, and the hinge screw seems tight, so not sure why the cutting performance is so poor. The small pruning shears seem better. I gave those and the included gardening gloves to my wife, so all is not lost.I may just modify the long-handled shears so that the head does not swivel (or at least not swivel so easily) and turn it into a grabber to move sticks and whatnot without having to get off the tractor when mowing the lawn

Long reach
I bought this for my overgrown shrubs. I am a wheelchair user so it's difficult for me to reach the branches with regular garden shears. This works the same way, but it more than doubles my reach. My situation is a little different, but this would be good for reaching tall tree branches or for shorter people as well. They are very strong, but easy to use and to pull the handle. I really like that you can rotate the cutting blades. This way you can get a comfortable position so you can cut for longer periods.

Not for me. Very wide grip, and heavy, did not hold the cut flowers
It has a very wide handle, not easy for a woman like me or anyone with a not-so-big hand to grab. And it did not hold the cut flowers well. You have to cut with a certain way to hold onto the cut (and I did not figure out exactly how), more than half of my cuts dropped. It is also much heavier than a similar cutter I had before. I used it for a few cuts and my hand was already sore. I am returning it and getting another brand.

Lightweight , Easy to use and durable.
I’m upgrading my landscaping tools this year to make my life a little easier.. this Long reach pruner has lived up to its expectations. The long handle is extremely helpful; I no longer have to pull out the stepladder in order to clean up my lilac trees. It’s lightweight and easy to work with.My rose bushes haven't looked this clean in years.I use these often to trim and cut small to medium sized branches nearly effortlessly. They are holding up really well over the past couple of months. The handle has good grip and is comfortable to use. durable and well made set. designed to last!totally worth the price!

Great Idea - Very Poor Execution
The very first time I used this trimmer, it came apart in my hands. When you squeeze the handle, the action is transferred to the cutter head by a long, slender rod. This rod is semi-adjustable because it is threaded and screwed into the handle. BUT, every time you turn the blade mechanism it rotates this threaded rod and wears out the screw. I don't know how it happened to a "new" product, but the threads were completely stripped so the rod slipped through the handle nut and came apart. This will no doubt eventually happen to every one of these. I managed to find a way to get a small amount of the screw engaged so it worked on smaller, softer flowers/weeds for a while. I should have returned it but got caught up in other things and missed the window. If you buy it, you can make it last longer by not rotating the cutter head.
