In the description it says "chemical-free" so my question is whats in the bag then? Never ending void?

Harrison's Organic means there are no fillers but chemical free ingredients. Anything that is in there has had no contact with any chemicals whatsoever. I have an African Grey- Kiki- for 13 years. His main diet is Harrisons. I add extra fruits and vegetables- organic, of course. I also put organic red palm oil on the Harrison's pellets to keep his feathers lovely and his dander down. Hope this helps.

Curious why Harrison's foods are priced $10. - $20. higher on Amazon, than in stores?

Amazon builds shipping and a bunch of other stuff to the associated seller fees which ends up being part of the final pricing. If you walk into a brick and mortar store you won’t pay shipping.

How long is the shelf life for a25 lb bag? I have a blue and gold macaw and it’s much cheaper but didn’t know if it will get stale.

Harrison’s food should be used up within 6 weeks of opening. One macaw would not eat 25lbs in this timeframe - and you would be feeding stale food at some point. For one large bird - we recommend the 5lb bags.

Why when searching through Google the price is 140 and when you get to Amazon it increases to 165???
