I have most of the other books in this wonderful series. This book captures the essence of French style with gorgeous photos and friendly, informative narrative. A great read to inspire.

Photos are not very appealing. Info limited. Giving it to Goodwill.not library worthy. would not buy again

I hate this book, it feels. . .staged. I wonder if the author, or even the photographer was even in France. It's not worth the postage to send back, and so I will give it to someone I don't like and look for an authentic book on French Country. . .any suggestions?

I took the name seriously and thought it would provide good reference photos of exterior architecture. I was wrong. If you are looking for lots of cute pictures of interiors, this is your book.

It has the right amount of information and photos for the interested decorator. Not overly technical. Gives good ideas for modifying for your own home.
