MUCH smaller than expected. Almost need two boxs to really make anything. I think this is a bit expensive for the return value on a child's toy.

I purchased this set for my eldest grandson. I love toys that have a creative aspect to them and am always on the look out for that type of toy when I am buying the grandkids a present. This is the first set of magnetic tiles I have purchased and I think they are great to get young minds thinking. The quality is good, I love the fact they come in a carry box, which makes it easy for clean up and storage. They were certainly a hit with the grandkids because they play with them for hours, so it makes life easier on their mom, who can other things done while they are occupied. I have even purchased another set to keep at my place for when they come to visit.

We have a small collection of the original blocks. This box, if only counting actual blocks and not the cheap inserts with a bunch of stickers that ridiculously factor in as part of the "54" claim, is actually more expensive than the original blocks. What a rip off! The blocks themselves are flimsier, too. Going back to the original. This is certainly "you get what you pay for" and "if it's too good to be true ..." example. So, to clarify to any actual "verified buyers" considering this item, at best, you get 32 pieces of actual blocks (when ignoring the storage box and silly stickers from a corner dollar store. Or, if you get a shortchanged box like I did, you get 23 pieces that are actual blocks."the same high quality magnets for less money (in most cases), so the only difference you'll see is in your wallet." "The same quality" is certainly a matter of opinion, and mine is that these are far inferior to the original, with the edges on the inside flat areas of the blocks being unpleasant to the touch and out right sharp (anyone who has touched both will verify that - it is obvious this maker counts on those looking for savings who haven't touched the original). As for "less money (in most cases)" - in my case with numerous blocks missing, this is far pricier than the far better in quality original and to anyone who gets all pieces, the same price at best if you omit the <$1 worth of stickers and pieces to put those stickers on and the $1 plastic storage box."hint: it makes a great gift" - I bought it to give it as a gift and will obviously not, as it is embarrassing and not good enough for my own children or their friends.The bottom line is that while I felt assured by "verified purchase" in the honesty of motivations of reviewers on Amazon, I now am convinced that makers found a way to give themselves glowing reviews without having to wait for actual buyers. In this case they are certainly deceitful as per the "verified" claim and often good quality writing. I wonder how Amazon will address this issue, as it is guaranteed to soon alert many honest Amazon shoppers. Worth pointing out is the short amount of time span over 30 people purchased and penned a five star review, with not a single variation from the five star trend - an unlikely trend in the real world, especially for a substandard item like this one. Additionally, the reviewers before me all reviewed other products that are the same, or inquired about the same exact products - all know each other at the very least, or some other shady gimmick.

Such a clever and entertaining toy. My girlfriend works with children and these were such a hit! I wanted to give her something different for the kids to keep them occupied and work for a wide age range. There are basic options to build as well as more advanced for older children. They feel like they will last against the inevitable abuse. I would buy again.

Love them, packaging is great they go right back in the box when the kids are done. Bought them for my 2 year old grandson because he liked them at playgroup, well everyone including the adults love them, great buy! Ordered a second one for a gift can't go wrong with this set for a child of any age.

This is a lot more fun than I expected it to be. It is high quality plastic and makes you feel like you are playing with Lego instead of Mega Blocks.The container is even really nice. Whenever my kids grow out of this I'll probably give the toys away but keep the container.

I love the carrying box and handle. We bought this for my nephew for Christmas. It comes with a booklet for ideas. Also has 2 set of wheels to make cars. If your child loves to play with his hands this the perfect toy to boost creativity.

I'm not sure who had more fun with these - me or my little nephew! Very cool and creative toy set. Better than any fidget spinner in my opinion! I love that it comes in it's own box. Lightning fast shipping. Thanks!
