Question 1

How can it be gluten free if it contains barley grass juice powder and wheat grass juice powder?

Accepted Answer

Great question! The key here is that we’ve only used the grass component of both the barley and the wheat: gluten is only found within the seed kernels of these species. For additional peace of mind, this product has been third-party tested and was determined to be gluten-free.

Question 2

Are the cell walls broken on the Chlorella used ?

Accepted Answer

Yes!

Question 3

One serving of your product is equal to how many servings of greens?

Accepted Answer

Because there is such a variety of vitamins and minerals from a wide variety of greens in this product, I don't think this can be answered. By reading the label, you can assess if this product has the vitamins and minerals you are looking for, and then compare that to a serving of kale or spinach, or beet greens, etc.

Question 4

Does anyone know the orac units per serving?

Accepted Answer

Hi there, Ora Organic here. We appreciate the question! We do not measure ORAC units in our Greens Powder or other products. While it was a valuable measurement years ago, the USDA has since abandoned it due to inaccuracies and misinformation on how ORAC relates to the product's actual performance within the body upon consumption.

Ultimately, one of the best ways to judge how a product is working for you is how you feel. That’s why we offer a 60-day satisfaction guarantee here. If you’re unhappy with your product for any reason, let us know within that time frame and we’ll issue your refund. (And no need to send it back to us either.)
