The Art and Making of Transformers: War for Cybertron Trilogy

Good content, but pics are too dark!
The book's build and content are just great. Not only it has concept art, it also has lots of lore. I really like that is not only about polished marketing "concept art", but also about the early scribbles and anotations. It also showcases painted over 3d blockings and some graphic design content. This is perfect if you're starting into concept design because the art quality you see in this book is more or less what you get to do in a real world workplace. Nothing pretentious nor misleading, only the good bread-and-butter stuff. My only complain is I feel the print quality is a bit in the over saturated and over contrasted side so sometimes the black take over. Still enjoyable. Smash that buy button!

Great way to say goodbye to an awesome adult transformers show
I really enjoyed War for Cybertron. I know it received a lot of hate by the very same community that are considered "fans", but as someone who was tired of dumbed down kiddie shows based on a cartoon that originally had some serious tones, I will forever be grateful for it's existence. This book celebrates the series with some great artwork and interesting narrative for the creation process. Just hope we get some more of this in the future.

Beautiful images and highly detailed!
The book covers a lot of detail about the Transformers characters, their home world and the toys the War for Cybertron series was based on. The graphics are amazing and, alone, are rich enough to tell the whole story.

Female Robots Are Just Better...
I got my book, excited, and started flipping through the pages. You can tell they had a directive because whenever they describe a Transformer as being the toughest it's a female character. Why a Autobot would have a positive attribute in "standing up to both Optimus Prime AND Megatron" makes me think the authors simply don't understand Transformers. If they do, they seek to change and alter it. Once again men and women are writing women who do not understand either. I'm disgusted and do not recommend.

I have no idea who this would appeal to.
I'm genuinely very confused by this product's existence. First of all, I've never really heard of anyone who actually liked Transformers: War for Cybertron Trilogy enough to purchase a thick, expensive coffee table book on the subject. Secondly, the information and art of the book is presented as if the reader knew absolutely nothing about Transformers.I get that, as a coffee table boo, it's really meant to be absent-mindedly paged through by a guest to your home, but wouldn't you come off as a lot more interesting if you had a National Geographic book about the Galapagos or something?Admittedly, it's not entirely worthless. The art is very pretty, and there are few fun factoids buried in repetitive blurbs. Still, I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.Arrived quickly and in good condition.

Mind blowing
An amazing look on the process to make the Netflix shows, it's awesome to see more of this cause I quite enjoyed all three (even if I didn't like some of the voice acting) but seeing the concept art for some and even seeing the names of the planets from TF Cybertron (or galaxy force I think in Japan) like Gigantia, and It's just such a cool book

Nice art book!
If you are a fan of the show, then you’ll likely enjoy this book—it has great looking art. I wish they would include box art from the toy line, but it doesn’t.
