12" Outer Sleeve - 25pcs

Together, the Big Fudge Vinyl Record Sleeves and Big Fudge Premium Inner Vinyl Record Sleeves have been an excellent upgrade for protecting my record collection. The outer sleeves are very clear and high quality, doing a great job of showing off album artwork without looking cloudy or cheap. They feel durable, don’t stick to jackets, and are sized generously enough to handle gatefold albums without forcing anything. I store my records by inserting them from the top, which helps prevent the vinyl from accidentally slipping out of the jacket and keeps the outer sleeve from sliding off when pulling records in and out of my storage rack. The inner sleeves complement them perfectly. Records slide in and out easily, static is noticeably reduced, and the material feels smooth and protective. I like that they can either be placed inside the original paper inner sleeve to preserve artwork and notes, or used on their own if the original inner is worn or rough. They’ve done a great job keeping records clean and preventing scuffs or scratches. Used together, these sleeves strike a great balance between protection, presentation, and ease of use. For anyone serious about caring for their vinyl, this is a high-quality and very practical combination from Big Fudge.

I’ve been slowly re-sleeving my whole collection and these have become my default. The first thing you notice is the clarity. They’re truly transparent, not that hazy, cloudy plastic some cheaper sleeves come in, so the cover art shows through cleanly with no distortion. Important to me: these are polypropylene, not PVC, so I’m not worried about them off-gassing or sticking to the jackets over the years the way PVC can. The thickness is the real selling point. They’ve got enough body to actually protect a corner from a ding, but they’re not so stiff that sliding a jacket in and out is a fight. Standard single LPs go in with room to spare, and this is where a lot of sleeves fail, they’re roomy enough to fit most gatefolds and slightly thicker double albums without forcing it. A handful of my chunkier box-set jackets were a snug fit, so if your collection skews heavy on deluxe pressings, just know they run true-to-standard rather than oversized. Open top, no flap or resealable seam, which I personally prefer for grab-and-shelve use. At this price per sleeve the value is hard to beat, and the pack arrived flat and undamaged. One minor nitpick: a few at the bottom of the stack had a slight static cling that made them want to stick together, but a quick separate-and-shake sorted it. Bottom line: protective, archival-safe, and they make a shelf of records look sharp. Easy five stars and I’ll be reordering.

I wanted sleeves for my LP's that were sturdy and didn't tear or wrinkle easily. These fit the bill. They are very clear, no haziness or blurring. The fit is a bit snug but once handled a few times, they slide off and on the LP's easily, even the 2 record sets. They are doing a good job of keeping the dust out of my records. I bought them specifically for their thickness and therefor better protection. If I need more than the 100, I will get more of these.

I’m extremely satisfied with the Big Fudge 12-Inch Vinyl Record Sleeves. The quality is excellent, and they provide great protection for my vinyl collection. The material feels durable, crystal clear, and sturdy enough to keep records safe from dust, scratches, and everyday handling...

I ordered these sleeves along with there others for comparison. I'm not fanatical but want a quality product to protect and present nicely my records. Here are my observations: - Big Fudge: Nice clear sleeve, feels like 3mil, seams seem durable (I try to pull apart with reasonable strength w/out any splitting), size was good for single LP and double gatefold. This outer sleeve was slightly (approx. 1/8") taller than the standard LP cover (which is good for those used to thumbing through the collection). Made in China. Price for me was .36 cents each in a 50 pack at $17.97. - Vinyl Fever: Nice clear sleeve, feels like 3mil, seams seem durable (I try to pull apart with reasonable strength w/out any splitting), size was good for single LP and double gatefold. This one was absolutely square, with seemingly no extra length on the top (good for presentation or those who simply slide their records into a shelf rather than thumb from above). Made in China. Great price at .25 cents each for a 75 pack/$18.99. - Vinyl Styl: Not crystal clear, thinner than the other sleeves, large enough for a double gatefold, with about 1/4" taller than standard cover size. Will use for my lesser-valued used records. Amazon sent them in box (good) but tall enough box for them to fold in shipping; no issue since there is no crease in the sleeves. Price is great but only a slighty less than Vinyl Fever outer sleeves at .23 cents each (pack of 50/$11.50). - Vinyl Storage Solutions (Canadian company for comparison, sold on their own site): Nice clear sleeve, feels like 3mil, seams seem durable (I try to pull apart with reasonable strength w/out any splitting), size was good for single LP and double gatefold. Quality looks identical to both brands above. Has some extra height (approx. 1/16") over the record cover, so between Big Fudge and Vinyl Fever sleeves. Made in USA. I had to order 4 packs of 50 each to get free shipping to Texas, but works out to .34 each. SUMMARY: Overall, so far I am pleased with all the clear outer sleeves. Will reorder the Vinyl Fever outer sleeves, since they are a quality product and excellent value. Of course there are lot differences in manufacturing, so I understand others in the past have received inferior sleeves. Amazon should replace or refund these buyers, which in my experience has been superior in doing so. I have no qualms with recommending any of these sleeves.

Fantastic sleeves! They feel just a bit thicker and more durable than some of the sleeves that come with purchases from your neighborhood record store, and most impressively, they are CRYSTAL CLEAR! I've bought lots of other sleeves over the years, in packs and singles, and a lot of them had just a touch of cloudiness (and the ones that didn't were super thin, wrinkly and ripped easily). I thought that was just the way it was. The Big Fudge sleeves solve both problems, and I love how the covers just pop in these. Also, they are the perfect size! I have had other sleeves that had almost half an inch of extra material at the top, and others that barely came up to the top of the record sleeve. These come up just about 1/8 to 1/4 above the top, depending on the record (some newer covers tend to be a bit taller, while stuff from the 50s/60s or UK imports are a bit shorter). I'm in the process of replacing all the sleeves in my collection (while working my way through mass cleaning as well), and I have noticed that they do start to add a bit of thickness and I've had to start bumping things down along the shelves to fit. It's not really a bad thing, but something you ought to plan for before you start swapping hundreds of sleeves. The only complaint is that my shipment arrived with a few other items and was tossed in the box, and quite a few of them have little marks that look like someone poked them with a ballpoint pen. None so far are punctured, but have a little embossed bump on them. However, I'm pretty sure that it's the fault of whatever Amazon warehouse they came from, and not a manufacturing flaw (haven't read anything about that in other reviews, anyway). Overall, I highly recommend these sleeves. In 20 years of collecting, this was the first sleeve that was ever even worth remarking on. **Additionally, after writing this review I encountered a few sleeves that had some minor manufacturing defects. I contacted Big Fudge and got a response the same day. Their service (should you ever need it) is above and beyond excellent, so not only is the product great, but the company stands behind it and will make it right if you do have an issue.

Besides being extremely thin, a couple of them came with an interesting tear that looks like someone took a knife to them. The fact that they are thin made it hard to insert gatefolds, a few of them split in the process.

Excellent value for money outer sleeves for my precious and priceless Vinyl LP record collection. Happy with safe delivery.

I use these sleeves to store my smaller collections of 12x12" paper for scrapbooking/memory keeping. The papers are cardstock weight and usually 6-12 sheets per collection. Sometimes I even use these sleeves to store scraps. The sleeves are crystal clear, strong, & work well! I also use a P-touch label-maker to apply labels to each sleeve. These stick and stay to the sleeves w/ no problem. Very pleased with these! Have also ordered the 50-count package with no issues (they were not avail this time so ordered 2 of the 25-count). All have been great!
