More than a fryer.
Bought it for doing small batches of seafood boil. It also makes a good stew pot.

Cooks great
I use this on my outdoor fryer. It did great. Fried up some wings etc. Cleaned up really easy afterwards. The pot kept a good constant temperature. Some pots scorch and you can never get it clean. No problems so far with this one. Comes with an oil thermometer. Good product all around.

Great Price and Quality
As a basic set, it works great, and is easy to clean. We fry just outside the garage door on a ring (originally turkey fryer). We have done shrimp, fish, fries, onion rings, and even ravioli. It is referred to as "entry level" but I prefer to think of it as perfect for two people who like fried food and can't cook it inside on the new glass stove top. Great quality set for the price.

This fry pot is very large and perfect for frying large quantities in one setting. It’s made from stainless steel and very easy to clean. The thermometer included is a nice touch as well.
