good book for a journal. Covers are hard enough so don't need to write on a table. College ruled so can cram a lot of writing on a page. Off white paper so easier on the eyes. Nice elastic band to hold the book closed. Great colors! I purchased several and started with teal. Oh yes, lies flat when opened. Very happy with it! Highly recommend!
