Metabo HPT 36V MultiVolt Cordless Rear Handle Circular Saw Kit

I purchased this based on the reviews here and on Awesome Framers YouTube channel. I was concerned with the power of a cordless saw. I already have a Dewalt cordless 6.5" saw and it is great, but light duty. For my primary circular saw for the framing I wanted a powerful cordless saw that would weight less than my Dewalt corded worm drive saw. This Metabo saw is very impressive. It feels very light and has about the same power as my corded worm drive saw. I wish I bought it sooner. I just started building a new home and this is going to see a lot of use. I have temporary power, but this saw is so good I'll keep using it as my primary saw.

I had cheaper circular saws for many years and at times I would watch contractors make straight cuts without a guide and I was envious and thought it was because they had more experience. One of the saws was a battery powered one that on a full charge I could do a few cross cuts on 2x4s but then it would start struggling with lack of power. I charged this saw up and I've performed rip and cross cuts. Quite a few and I have yet to charge it. And now I can perform straight cuts without a guide (at least not a guide always). It is one of my favorable purchases in my array of tools. I am very impressed and have recommended them to friends.

Such a great deal! Works great and is super lightweight and easy to use! Charges quickly and can take a beating on the job site. Very impressive purchase.

Bought this saw after a lot of research saying this one was a great option. I use only dewalt. After 3 days of use and I only charged the battery once the saw quit, it doesn't matter if I have a new battery in it. Didn't use it hard just cutting 2x6's and osb sheathing and it just stopped. It was awesome when it worked for 3 days right out of the box.

Love this saw. Finally switched to a battery saw and have been impressed by its power and the battery life. Seems to be a quality saw and expect to get a lot of use out of it. So far I’ve used it on one construction project for sill plates, stairs, walls, etc.. The one con so far is how it shoots out sawdust. It tends to come right back at you, more than other saws. I saw another review where they added a fitting to redirect the dust. I will be doing that.

WOW...always just used the regular old skil circular saw, then I upgraded to one that has the blade on the left side that was sure nice... Then I got my hands on this cordless rear handle saw it is unreal...the control and feel is great, totally better than what I was using. The design and ergonomics and rafter hook makes this easy to handle even on a roof framing. Battery life seams to last forever.

First time using a cordless Circular Saw and this machine is just too efficient and powerful, cuts through lumber with ease.. Battery last forever and charges fully in about 20 mins. Price point is a steal compared to the other acclaimed brands. And the fact this comes with an adapter as 2nd option for not using battery makes it a winner.. coming from a milwuakee fan gradually switching to metabo hpt.

Outil reçu très rapidement pour un cadeau de Noel. Fonctionnement impeccable. Les gens peuvent se plaindre du sur-emballage mais un outil de ce prix se doit d'être bien protégé et c'était le cas. Merci!

Me parece una buena herramienta, excelente potencia pero le falta luz , eso le resta perfección .. Me gustaría encontrar una luz que se le pueda adaptar
