It's exactly what it says it is, and my cats use it.
It's quiet and functions exactly as expected. It took my two cats (2 & 3 year old males) a few days to warm up to it but it was a fairly easy process. I just put it next to their water bowls and soon enough they started using it. Cleaning and charging are easy. Whenever I go to clean it I just plug it in for an hour or two before I set it back out. Replacing the filter is extremely simple as it sits under the top metal dish and pops in and out without having to manipulate anything other than removing the top dish, which you do anyways to clean it. I like the motion sensor and it triggers as expected. The battery lasts for 5+ days for me, but this will probably depend on how often your cat (or anything moving) triggers it or what setting you leave it at. I have two big boy kitties and it's *just* big enough for both of them do drink at the same time. I bought this because I didn't have a convenient outlet to plug a cord into for a water fountain. I considered running a cord across the floor and taping it down but I just didn't want to deal with that. This product solved my problem!

Loved it… until it broke 3 months later
Update: I want to update my review and give this pet foundation 5 starts. After I had issues with the previous product, the manufacturer was so kind to send me a new foundation that works perfectly. I haven’t had any issues and really thank Kastty for their excellent customer service! Love how quiet and quickly the battery charges, it’s great if your kitty loves moving water but you don’t have an outlet nearby! Previous review: I really loved this water fountain for my cats, it was quiet, charged quickly - I thought I had found the perfect fountain that I had been searching for for so long. But after just three short months of use, the motor burned out and stopped working entirely. I am extremely disappointed, there is no contact information anywhere to request a refund or warranty. Bought in June, motor died in August. Wouldn’t purchase again. Waste of $50.

Just the right size
I love that it is cordless! Left it plugged up for a few days to see if the pets would indeed use it. My large cat loves it & so does the dog. I've moved it several places in the home just because I could. Did I mention that it is cordless? Also you can set it to constantly run or to turn on when your pet approaches the bowl. This will help the bowl to stay charged for a longer time. So far a week has passed without having to plug up for a recharge. There is a button that will turn red when the water level is low. Can't speak for the filter yet. They appear to be quite expensive so I will look around to see if I can find something comparable as the instructions indicate they are on a 12 day countdown. Can't yet say how long the filters as a whole will last. So far I really like this one as I researched for hours before finding one that is cordless & can be recharged via a USB cord which is provided. The plug is not included. I'm thinking if you give the whole unit a thorough cleaning at least two times a month it should last a very long time. Detailed instructions are included. Of course you will wash the tank every time you refill it. At this time, Yes I would highly recommend this product. If I remember I will come back several months from now to give an update.

Like the bowl and so does my kitties but..
Bought this product back in February and my kitty likes it and it has been the only way for me to get her to drink water (fun fact: cats enjoy moving water rathed then still water to drink). It's really quiet but the charge will last me a week on sensor mode so I wish it held a longer charge. Unfortunately, recently the pump stopped pumping. The sensor and lights still worked but the pump gave up. After further research, I disassembled the pump (really easy just pulls apart) and got down to the propeller cleaned everything, gently put it all back together with filters and it worked again. Granted I just did this today, 10/21/24, so i'm unsure how long it'll last but, if you have the same problem maybe give this a try. :)

KASTTY cat water fountain and filter replacement is going strong after 4 years!
These filters and this Kastty Water Fountain for cats, is still working after four years. It is the most reliable cat water fountain that I have ever purchased. These filters are a perfect fit for this unit. We change the filters every two months as it serves two cats at all times of the day and night. It is very reliable, easy to clean and maintain. It has a battery back up system in the event of a power outage. If you are looking for a Cat Water Fountain and the replacement filters, this is the one you should get.

Updated: Does not switch to back up battery
It says 3.2 liters, but more like just 3 liters. Smaller than I thought (the pictures in the ad made it look bigger), but works for me with one pet. Also, it comes with a USB cord but there is NO plug, so you need a USB plug or your outlet will need to be USB capable. UPDATE (12March2022): Today my house lost power, but only for a short while. I had set the water bowl to sensor mode, when I walked by the water bowl, it didn't activate. I thought that was strange, the power is back on. I had to press the power button to get it to turn back on. What?! I decided to unplug it to test out the backup battery. After I unplugged it, the water bowl did NOT automatically switch over to battery mode, I had to manually press the power button to get it to turn on to battery mode. The battery IS charged. But when the power goes out it does NOT become battery-powered. This is now the reason I have changed it to 1-star. DO NOT BUY! Because if you leave for a couple of days and the power goes out, the water that is available is what is sitting on top of the pan to begin with, once that shallow water is gone there is no more water available for your pet because it will not switch to battery backup, you have to manually press the power button to turn on batterypower; and when the power do come back on, it will NOT restart, you have to manually press the power button again to turn it back on. This is absolutely stupidity in its design!

Only lasted 3 months
It’s a really nice product other then it only lasting me 3 months. It’s great for cats who like to play in their water bowls (unless they are persistent) but it definitely makes a huge difference, it’s the perfect height that they can sit or lay to drink but it’s more difficult to play in. The clear part on the side makes it super easy to fill it without having to always take it completely apart each time so you don’t have to worry about over filling it. The larger flower part makes cleaning it way easier then some of the other brands. My cats didn’t seem to care about the light but made it easier for me to see the water level. Also if your forgetful and don’t fill it up with water the light will turn red letting you know it needs to be filled. Which is what I loved/love about it until it stopped working when the other brand we had lasted way longer. The light still works but the motor started slowing down two days ago and when I came home from work today it was dead. I would still recommend getting it but maybe get an extra motor just in case. Now I’m stuck using bowls till a new motor or product arrives

Best one for the money after 3 others I have had experience with
This is the 4th fountain I have purchased and so far (Ive only had it about 2 weeks) I am very pleased with every aspect of it. The best feature is how quiet it is. The house can be silent and I still can't hear it. It lights up which is also a great feature but what made it stand out for me is that it quits working when the water is low and the light flashes red, alerting you to add water. This is a great addition because it saves the motor from running when empty, which can burn it up or shorten its life. Trust me, the motors don't last forever so this helps to save it. Here is my opinion or experience relating this one to the previous 3 purchased. First was the Catit flower fountain. Good price, lasted quite a while but somewhat noisy compared to this one and the amount of water it held was minimal compared to Kastty. I have hard water so the fact that it is plastic after a while the build up was hard to get off. Not the companies fault though. I think it lasted more than a year so thats pretty good. It was better than the other two so I'm rating it in 2nd place. Next I bought the Comsmart white plastic one with the light feature to illuminate how much water was in it, but the motor didn't last long at all. I went a while without purchasing another one but the benefits of the cats drinking filtered running water over a bowl that always gets either hair or cat litter in it (cause inevitably one of them has to check the water level (?) with his paw) was a no brainer so I bought another one. Third I bought the ORSDA Stainless fountain (to get away from the hard water on plastic issue) and I didn't really like it at all. They accepted the return with no issue but the reason I returned it was for the following: It was noisy - the stainless on top and bottom rubbing together, sometimes made an annoying noise and thats all it took for me! In addition to that it only has the one way for pets to drink from it and my cats didn't take to it. I think it was because the water came out too fast. Seemed kind of aggressive compared to others. Would probably be great for a dog but my cats like the trickle of water from the flower fountain setup. I thought about a Ceramic fountain as my next purchase but wasn't going to pay double or triple the cost with way less water holding capacity, so the Kastty was what I chose. I have had it a little over 2 weeks, have re-filled it and cleaned the filter twice. It serves 5 (too many) cats, so I feel the size of it is very adequate. The only thing I would say to the seller as an inventive to grab the customers attention to lean towards purchasing this one over the hundreds of others out there, would be to add more than 1 filter to the initial purchase. Don't make the mistake I did and not buy extras at the time of purchase cause it definitely needs changing. I feel like I have made a good purchase and I am very satisfied with it. Kastty even said I'll get a free gift and a chance to test the next product just for becoming a Kastty member and sending them my order #. I hope this review has helped some of you that are debating on which one to purchase. Kastty has my vote!

Happy cats
Well finally I found something my cats will drink from ❗️How I wish I had this years ago, as 2 of my cats have had urinary health issues and need to drink more than most and they were not from the sitting water, I charged it up and set it on sensor to save on charge but it does last a few days because it turns on or off depending on the distance activated, is super quiet and holds a lot of water as described, my cats love to drink out of the water directly coming from the middle raised hole as it just flows out easily, doesn’t spurt up their nostrils as most do, can’t find any fault with this product,I love that my indoor cats drink a lot more and is so easy, also I add that I have one cat that chews and the fact that I have the option here to not use the cord, I place it high up on cabinet to charge which doesn’t take long at all, I do this when all of them are sleeping , lasts a long time on a charge but that depends on how much they drink or motion activated , for us it’s usually every 4 days or so but as I mentioned could be different for others depending on activity , it’s a 5 star for me and my cats 👍

Great water fountain!
This water fountain is great You can move it anywhere because it's rechargeable My cats and dogs love it And we love not having to buy batteries all the time. I bought both and this model is definitely the better opition. It costs a little more but you ultimately save money not buying batteries.

Excelente compra
