507906 NP231 Fixed Yoke Kit

This Slip Yoke Eliminator came as advertised. After installation with a very detailed instruction book, the transfer case worked as advertised. The common fault with the NP231 transfer case is when installing the SYE kits the oil pump separates in which some instructions do not warn you about this and can destroy the transfer case, what was good about this set of instructions is that it let the installer know about this as well as anything else needed.It warns the installed that the shift rail in the transfer case may need to be trimmed to fit with the installation kit. Although on my 1993 Jeep YJ with stock NP231 case this did not need to be done.I am more than happy with this kit and glad I spent a little more on a high quality product.

Installing the SYE went well, short of using the poor directions.

Don't be poor. Buy a double cardan driveshaft. Never worry about your driveline again. These kits are all the same manufacturer.
