Light stain of color
This leaves a light stain of color. It's not super bold, so don't expect that. But, the color is very pretty and stays on for a long time. Also, it's not drying like other stains.

I love elf products the lip gloss is good . This product is awful and feels cheap . This is a miss for me . I unfortunately had to get rid of it .

PLEASE READ IF YOU'VE NEVER USED BEFORE
This is a hit or miss. I was pretty excited, but when I looked at it, it was filled halfway and the packaging looked SLIGHTLY tampered with. When I put it on, it was live water and oil. Some parts stuck to my lips, others didn't. It was very very thin and watery and looked very bold on my face (I wasn't wearing makeup to be fair). Here's what I found helps this product last and make the best out of it: First, I put it on my lips (obviously), and I layer it up quite a bit. DO NOT do the "pucker up lip smack" thing because it will cause the product to shift to the very edges of your lips (it made me look like a cheap grandma with tattooed lip liner) Next, I taped the product on my lips very lightly in small taps with the applicator to even it out a bit (some parts will still be uneven, but it should even out after a minute or two) NOTE: This product gets very sticky when its drying and it taste like the dentist office (not in a good way) Then I leave it on for about five minutes (try not to move your lips even though you'll be tempted to rub it around and lick them off!!!) Then I'll tap it again with the applicator (with or without product is your choice) Finally, I'll gently wipe it off with a paper towel (not toilet paper of tissue because it will leave paper bits on your lips) Slap on a TAD bit of chapstick or lip gloss just so it doesn't feel weird ANOTHER NOTE: This is not a 30 dollar lip stain, it's 6 bucks from e.l.f. so don't be upset if you don't look like an Instagram model. The colour turned out a dimmed blood orange, but after some chapstick, it looked WAYYYY more natural

the product is a little thin/watery but it makes a nice simple look, and I've gotten nice compliments for it :)
