This thing broke after 3 weeks of using it. I thought it may have been user error so I tried to work with it and now it is even worse. 50% of the time after a reset it will not start measuring at all. 90% of the time it will catch at 9' 11" and just click but not measure. Sometimes it will catch at random points. Initially I was delighted with this product, but now I see its made from crap plastic and wears out right away! SO unhappy with this. If you're a good company, reach out to me and offer a refund or replacement or SOMETHING!

VALUE MONEY , ACCUATE AND EASY TO USE

For the price this is an excellent wheel. I’m on my third one typically last me 1.5-2 years but I am pretty rough with them they get moved around a lot and used multiple times 5 days a week. Like I said I’m on my third one so I’m happy with the usage I get for the price.

Surprised it's lasted me 8 months. I would never use the break, but the hand reset is nice!!

So..I'll start with saying that when it worked, it was great. Measured accurately within an inch every time. The problems started 3 months in. The reset button at the top started not working all the time. Required multiple presses, and it got progressively worse. The gear inside started missing after resets sometimes, causing a whirring sound, reset didn't change to all zeros, and would cause scrolling issues, or not work at all. 4 months in, it was becoming more of a battle. Yesterday when pulling the trigger for the brake, something popped inside and now it doesn't work. (The cord inside snapped) The reset button is now useless, and I have to use the manual reset at the bottom of the clicker. When folding it up I can see the cord for the reset inside is kinked and bent, and I'm imaging it's not far behind going the same route as the brake cable. It will still be useable, just a huge inconvenience and not acceptable considering I paid $25 extra for those two exact features. Is it worth the $65 I paid? Not really considering it only lasted 5 months, and all it got used for was measuring several yards a week. It wasn't banged around, or used roughly. Just simply measured the outlines of yards. That leave a lot to be desired on durability. Personally, I'm going to blame the AZ heat, as it seems to ruin EVERYTHING. Maybe this would last longer in the cooler months. It seems this is the only measure wheel at this price point on Amazon, so I'll look elsewhere, but it seems like options are limited. The storage bag with shoulder straps is a nice touch.

Update. Jan 2023. Have less then 4 months. Have used less then 2 dozen times and the counter won’t reset, from the handle or manually from the lower button my the wheel. Very frustrating. Was out measuring a job today and good thing my other truck was there with equipment so I had another wheel there to use. But this stopped working and will NOT reset. And just in time for it to be not returnable. Love this so much more then the ones you have to lean over to reset. The brake is awesome to have as well. Buy this one. Spend the little extra and get a way better way to measure.

Great quality wheel, however is in feet and inches and no good for Australia!
