Excellent product! As another reviewer said, I would give it more stars if I could. I run mostly on trails and had a bad ankle sprain followed by calf sprain. As I was recovering, I was looking for something for support that would still fit running shoes and not be a pain to put on. I tried some others that were just support sleeves or sock, which were okay but they're not really enough support, especially on trails and I find putting on those compression-type products is a pain. My wife also has ankle problems and was already wearing braces but they are bulky and it takes several minutes for her to get geared up. These slip on easily and you just have to just position it and tighten with velcro strips that hold very well. It takes about ten seconds. After you have them on, you might find that they need adjusting and you will have to take shoe off to do that. If you're running I know that seems like a pain but definitely worth a few seconds to get the right adjustment. One thing to note: I always wear over socks and it seems like it could be uncomfortable with bare feet though I haven't actually tried that. As far as fit, they work fine in my regular size trail shoes because the collar is expandable and flexible enough to fit over it. I'm guessing it might not work in regular size dress shoe but I haven't tried in dress shoe. I'm pretty much recovered from my sprain but have continued to wear because it's so easy and comfortable (and trail footing is so treacherous!). I'll probably get another for my left foot as preventive also.

I seldom review due to work hours & lack of time. After all Amazon’s purpose is a time-management convenience shopping strategy; post mall shopping era! However, I must pause & take a moment to express gratitude for my Amazon shopping find & to empathize with fellow shoppers who are on the same time management crunch searching for the ideal ankle brace that fits & produces results. I broke my ankle at work & my orthopedic surgeon said due to my physically fit condition; he would treat it as a sports injury through physical therapy & no boot but recommended a brand name ankle brace which I ordered. After ordering that brace & multiple braces on the market & only receiving uncomfortable braces that also were non-functional to wear with shoes: I finally found this one which was perfect in the secure pressure my ankle needed & the fast flexible Velcro putting on & off my foot. The only feature I don’t like is the brand name logo on the brace: why can’t the white brand name be an inside label? Why can’t the brace be a solid black color? It’s a tacky & unattractive white logo when in dress up clothes or uniform (some people will not order due to white exterior logo label or will use a black sharpie to cover the white printed label on the ankle brace.) Other than the tacky white name brand on the ankle brace—it’s an excellent brace—buy it your ankle will thank you for it and you’ll be pleased with the self-care results!!!

Good ankle support for swimming. Easy to put on and take off and not too much drag.

As other reviewers have mentioned, this brace runs small. I bought a medium, which should have fit because I am not a big person. This nearly cut off my circulation. I returned it and am getting the large size which I hope will be a good fit. I'm giving it 3 stars for the design, which is identical to that of a helpful brace I bought several years ago.

I have had weak ankles since high school, and I always find myself twisting it, and my ankel is always sore and hurts at the end of the day. It never dawned on me to wear an ankel brace. I went with the cotill brace, and man oh man, I am thrilled, and could not be happier. Provides excellent support and stability and comfortable enough to wear all day if needed. It is soft, and not hard plasticy. They aren't as bulky as the usual product of this type and provided good support and stability. I wear it under my sock, and have no problem fitting my shoes on. I like it really tight to feel supportive. They are adjustable with the strong velcro, so it could be as tight as you need it ( without cutting off your circulation ! ) I feel very confident at the extra support it provides. Basketball season starts up here pretty soon, so I am very happy I have this now. This purchase was smart for me and I would recommend this brace for anyone who tends to roll their ankles or anyone who wants a little more support.

This ankle brace design fits me better than any other i have tried. I have a relatively small foot and wear 6.5 or 7 in shoes and purchased a Medium in this brace.

It's great. Its sturdy and helped while on vacation. I bought 3 and one of the I used in the water and it worked like a charm. Fabulous.

Le support est plus conforblable que les autres essayés, ne blesse pas ma peau fragile et ne tire pas trop la plante du pied. Mais...il stabilise peu la cheville. J'ai choisi la taille "M" qui était adaptée selon la charte et il est un peu grand. Le "S" n'étant pas disponible, ce sera ça. Je vais le porter par dessus la chaussette ce qui le rendra un peu plus ajusté. Après quelques semaines d'utilisation, j'ai quand même l'impression que ce support aide pour les activités modérées. J'augmente d'une étoile.
