Easy and secure
I love these Wago connectors. Was looking for 4-wire one, but only could find 2, 3 and 5. They certainly take up less space than traditional wire nuts. Also very easy to replace devices - I've be swapping out some of my switches for smart switches - works great!

Great product use only when needed
I only use these when itโs not suitable for a pigtail and wire nut, tight box or lots of wires in box, I did recently use 12 gauge four wires in one wago and it was tough on my fingers keeping it all tight in the box, I would highly recommend a small price of black electrical tape on the orange clips so they donโt pop open when you pushing them back in the box , the wires do stay tight in the wago, they do work great when I need them but only when I need them

The best wire connectors on the market.
I love Wago connectors. I know they are not as cheap as wire nuts, or some other options. But these are secure, and they are quick to use. I am not going through hundreds of these at a time, so the added expense is not really a concern.

DIY With Wago's
Being a DIY'r the Wago's were new to me. I live in a circa 50's house and wiring is sorta weird with the white neutrals. The electrician piled several under one wire nut. He did the same with 2 black hot wires and a pigtail; only the wire nut apparently fell off. So the box could have been energized or worse, fire hazard. Anyway, Wago to the rescue. Easy fix with the Wago's. Separated the neutrals with a (5) lug Wago (4) w/ pigtail. I know I'm reviewing a Wago splice but the fit is the same. The speed you get using the Wago's make you look like a pro. You can re-use these dudes. So they are worth the money. My project now is going through my entire electrical system putting in line GFCI outlets and switches and rewiring to the load side outlets and switches to make open ground outlets safe. Easily doing this with Wago's. Also finding problems previously mentioned. Old house new problems. Highly recommend the Wago's

Awesome little connectors
To start, I didn't receive these free for review- I paid for these out of my own pocket and have no connection with the manufacturer of WAGOs or any of their affiliates. I'll be copying and pasting this review on the other sized WAGO connector pages - just so you know I'm not a bot or a shill. I'm just a fan of good high-quality hardware. I ordered two-, three-, and five-conductor WAGO connectors and have been using them extensively around the house and for work projects. Super easy to use, I don't have to remember which color nut goes with which AWG, and most importantly, in addition to giving a good, solid connection, they pack very nicely in switch/junction boxes. I hate fighting with wire nuts, trying to fit them into junction boxes, especially since a lot of the newer electronic switches are a lot bigger than the old toggle switches. They also make removing and replacing wires a cinch. A lot of U.S. electricians poo-poo these connectors, equating them to other less-reliable push-in connectors or using the back-stab slots on switches. I'm not an electrician, but over 20+ years I've had a lot of electrical/electronic training, done a lot of electrical/electronic work personally and professionally, and am very familiar with the National Electrical Code and National Fire Codes and I feel confident I can identify a safe, reliable connection. Plus, I don't want my house to burn down. These are UL, ABS, and CSA listed and meet NEC requirements. I've also handled safety and use certifications for electronics in the E.U. and in Australia/New Zealand. Their testing and standards are much more stringent than ours and WAGOs have been certified and in use in both areas for years. Two cautions: 1) Make sure the locking lever is fully seated and visually check to ensure the wire is properly seated. The casing is clear and wires are visible, and connection can be verified with a multimeter using the little probe ports. 2) There are a lot of knock-offs showing up on eBay and various other venues - make sure you're getting genuine WAGOs and not fakes.

Great for bench testing stuff!
These are amazing for bench testing!

Good for Low Voltage Gauge but Not 12 Gauge if need to bend afterwards
Great for low voltage wires. When I tried with 12 gauge which they claim it can handle, the wires popped out when I had to push them to the back of the switch box.

Easy to use
Wire connecting made easy. 5 connections in each Wago. No soldering, no splicing, just strip end of wire, flip lever on wago up insert wire and snap lever closed. All done.

Typical Wago quality
I purchased these to make myself a testing box to allow me to have multiple connections coming from a battery negative terminal and the ease of use allows so much time to be saved, simply push the wires in correctly and lock them down to make a good quality connection. This isn't the first time I've used Wago connectors and while they're not cheap, I've always found them to be value for money as you can come back after some time and the connections are still as good as the day you made them.

Makes Wiring so much easier
I did some remodelling and some of the outlet boxes were tight with a few sets of wires. These made work easy and a bit more compact. Definitely recommend over standard wire nuts as you can visually see and physically test that the wires are secure. I use some electrical tape to wrap around the body to help keep the levers closed, especially when the wires need to be stuffed back with force into a tight outlet box.

CSA Approved
These connectors are the Cat's Meow. So easy to use and saves space in the electrical box. They are CSA approved (will pass electrical inspection) and are safe and better connector than barrettes.
