Works good for wheelchair people, easy on the butt.

My scooter seat was only good for maybe an hour before I had to get off. With this seat cushion, it’s now a 2-3 hour seat, no more pain. The thickness is perfect. Drastically increased the comfort of the seat and has made it much more enjoyable to ride. Great value for the money. The under straps and clips are decent quality and should last for the life of the seat cushion. The straps and clips made it very easy to install on top of the scooter seat. I’m not so sure if it will reduce the temperature of the seat, but with increased comfort, it should feel cooler.

I purchased this about 16 months ago for my oversize office chair. Since I am in it about 10-12 hours a day I needed some extra cushioning, and this did the trick. After about a year I did find that the cushion tended to more easily slide off the chair. After 16 months of heavy use, it has flattened quite a bit, and no longer cushions as as when new. So I figure it is time to replace it. But I have been very pleased with it. I wish it would last longer, but realize it has endured a lot of sitting hours.

Bought 1 cushion just to try under the cushion of a much loved but worn down chair cushion that was part of a set. Tried it out and was so happy I ordered 2 more for the loveseat and another 3 for the sofa. I now have a comfortable seating area that we can enjoy. Love the way the set looks and feels now. Didn't want to have to replace the whole set if I could avoid that, and this did the trick! If you want to buy this to use as I did, just note that you may have to play a bit with the positioning of the cushion under your existing one to get the best look and feel. Very happy with this purchase!

I just got my order in this morning. I put it on my recliner seat that is 18 wide x 18.5 deep. The cushion is suppose to be 19.5 x 19.5. But on the width of my recliner's seat, I could see almost an 1 inch of fabric showing on the right when I lined the pad up to the left edge of the seat. So I got out my measuring tape: The gel cushion is 17.5 x 18.5 A far cry from the 19.5 x 19.5 inches advertised. I have severe back pain, and I sleep in my recliner. I often need to shift my weight from one side to the other while reclined in my chair. This often involves me using my arms to lift up, then I shift, and move an inch or so towards the direction I'll be putting more weight on. I wanted the full 19.5 x 19.5 gel cushion, to over the whole area of the seat so I would not end up on the edge of the cushion. I won't be posting if the gel cushion is comfortable, soft of offers pain relief. I'm just too disappointed in the shortage of the advertised size. My recliner had old fashioned coils in it, and last summer the coils went bad, but the rest of the chair is in great shape. I had to get foam cushioning as the upholsterer said the coils are so low in quality now. But the foam is a bit too firm...thus my need for some extra softeness.

I've had this cushion for over 6 Mos. At first I enjoyed it but then my ankles swelled a lot and my thigh would hurt where it ended on my chair. Plus your always sliding off the chair even with the traction that's provided on the cover. I found myself taking it off my chair and replacing it with one of my blankets. My ankles do not swell so much and my thigh pain gone. I am not repositioning myself all day long anymore. I feel like it really wasn't worth 44 dollars and I bought my mom one and she does not use it anymore either. Plus it's only a 3 day return window should have known. Save your money....seriously!!!!

I was not sure if this would work for me but gave it a try and it is like a miracle. Not only does it work well for the pressure on my tailbone it also eases that low back pain that comes with the pressure. I highly recommend this seat pad. It is plenty big enough for my big butt too. I also got a really nice note from the makers willing to work with me if it did not do what I needed. I have never had any maker offer to help me in any way to ease my pain so nice to see that there are people who really care out there in this old world !!!
