Hard to go wrong with Castle.
Put this combo in my Monster Slash. Very pleased with it. If you're coming from a velineon 3500 make sure you gear this properly. This motor/esc can handle way more load, so no need to gear it conservatively. It has amazing torque. You can tune it down a bit(especially punch control) to save your axles if they're stock. You'll need the castle link in order to connect it to your computer to tune. Data can be recorded to the speed controller and viewed on a graph through castle link. I also have to say this sensored combo is very smooth at low speeds. If you wanted to you could use this system in a crawler and it would still be ballistic when you wanted it to be. So far 0 complaints.

Package showed up on time broke in the first 5 minutes of use and have not been able to get it replaced this is a expensive paper weight

Easy install, runs cool, smooth
Installed this in a Traxxas Rustler 4x4. It is a snug fit but it does fit without any modifications. It is a smooth running set up with heaps of power. Currently running a 19 tooth pinion and 54 tooth spur gear.

Don't buy used
Bought a used like new, when it arrived motor looked good however the ESC had several connectors completely ripped out of it, returning the item for a refund

Motor has 3.17mm shaft not the 5mm as advertised
It said the motor had a 5mm shaft and it came with the 3.17mm shaft.

Extremely disappointed!
Not much to do with the product itself since I cannot even try it. The ESC came in BURNT AND MELTED! The motor doesn't look too bad but I'm not even going to try. Returning these items asap.

Bought the Mamba x & 1415 Combo, only a USED Mamba x was received
Bought the Mamba x & 1415 Combo, only a USED Mamba x was received. Clearly has been mounted before. Package had no plastic wrap. was supposed to be a combo package but no motor was included. Did not test ESC, for all I know it doesn't even work. What's more a simple turn it on test is not enough to know if the ESC is spoiled, would need to actually run it to know if there are any issues with it. UPDATE: correct product sent, new in package bundled with motor and still in plastic wrap as expected.
