Sturdy and Well Made
First of all, it should go without saying that I am a fastidious person. You likely are too if you're considering this particular item. So you should agree that few things are more disgusting than finger/toenails on the loose. Others more so than mine, but that should go without saying. As such, these particular clippers should be mandatory for everyone going forward. At least for those within my circles. So then, my review is as follows after one use (approximately ten clips, give or take). My first thought was that these clippers have some weight. Meaning they have the feel of a quality cutting device yet not so heavy as to make them difficult to use. They look well-made, and all moving parts worked flawlessly. I didn't notice any instructions, but let's be real, is that necessary? Maybe they did, and I didn't notice them because they work similarly to a standard nail clipper, and the ingenious little nail capture compartment was self-explanatory.Upon using them, I resorted to my usual stance out of sheer habit. That is to say, I crouched down close to the bathroom floor and began clipping my nails over the waste basket, not even realizing I was defeating the very purpose of why I purchased this item in the first place! I quickly realized my error, but before I did, I made an unexpected discovery. Due to the awkward position of having my hands beneath the rim of the tiny bathroom trash can, the clippers were incorrectly pointing downward, which apparently spills the contents of the nail-capture container out of the clipper's "mouth". I thought for a moment that they weren't working as advertised until I realized this was not the intended way of clipping one's nails. Upon standing up and proceeding with my hands horizontal to the floor, not a single clipping escaped the compartment. They work! There is a tiny lid that you can open and expel the vile contents when you're finished, but I found that simply pointing the clippers downward over the trash and shaking gently removes them without effort. A convenient little discovery for me, but you do as you please. Some folks may want to revel at their accomplishment like gazing with pride at a miniature pile of raked leaves; to each his own.Superficially speaking, as a designer, I have to say they also have a sleek look, a pleasing warm gray color, and a crisp, clean logo emblazoned on the lever. And they come with a tiny zip-lock, translucent red plastic storage bag. Nice for traveling, I suppose, but these clippers are suitable to be stored in a small, black velvet drawstring bag. Maybe I'm getting carried away now.Bottom line, they are of good quality, they work well, and I give them a well-manicured thumbs-up.

Strong and Convenient Nail Clippers
These nail clippers are great quality, made from sturdy metal that feels durable and sharp. The thickness of the blades is perfect for precise cutting. The built-in catcher works very well, keeping clippings contained and making cleanup easy. The price is very reasonable for how well they work. I am very happy with this purchase.

Sturdy and innovative.
These are very nice. They have a little flap that you flip to become a fulcrum for the cutter but also creates a little chamber for your clippings. Not all of your clippings will make it into the chamber because gravity and size are a factor but most of mine did.The only negative I had is that they are a little bigger than expected but got the job done. I would definitely recommend and buy again.

This is the one!
I read 100s of reviews and finally ordered one trimmer. It was handsome, heavy and substantial, but because of the design the lower jaw moved up toward the upper jaw and you had to be very careful not to trim the end of your toe along with the nail. The clipping catcher didn't work either. This clipper behaves like you'd expect only better. It feels solid in your hand, is made of metal and put together with screws like expensive machinery. The blades are sharp and precision ground. The spring mechanism is very clever. Instead of the lever twisting around to push down the jaws, the heavy duty spring flips over and does double duty as the cover for the catch tray. The nail clippings are caught instead of flying around the room and when you flip the spring back in its storage position you simply empty the clippings out of the compartment.Klipp calls it black, but it's really more of a dark bronze - very attractive and the finish looks more durable than some of the black anodized clippers. Not as light as the old fashioned "Trim" model that used to be in every bathroom cabinet, but not as flimsy either and they do such a great job. Like moving from a scooter to a BMW.It's a real value.

Good Value
Alert: This is a 5-star review. An error in the Amazon app only allows 4-stars to light up.Quality is excellent. The clipper edges are sharp. This is a well thought out design.I’ve bought many nail clippers in my 78 years and I consider these to be pretty darn good.I also own a couple of Victorinox clippers which are also very good. This clipper though, have a larger mouth which makes it easier to get the nail inside. It has a solid heavy feel and it seems to be a more comfortable fit for my hands.I don’t need the “nail clippings” catcher, but that just personal preference. It seems to catch 70% of the clippings. This is quite a good value for the money. I think you will be pleased with the purchase.

Sturdy and works well
Heavy duty clippers. They cut well and also catch the clippings as advertised. They seem built sturdy not like the other POS sold at grocery and drug stores.

Does the job but the paint comes right off
The nail clipper did the job. It clipped my nails and it caught any stray nails that would have gone flying. However, when I cleaned the clippers with some rubbing alcohol, the paint just started coming off. I had to wash paint off my hands and wash off the clipper in the sink... which makes no sense. Please, don't paint these clippers if you're not making sure that they can be cleaned effectively.

Impressive Nail Clippers With a Unique Design
These nail clippers have a very unique design for the spring action mechanism. You don't rotate the handle around, but lift up a little metal piece under the handle push down area, which then allows the spring action to occur. The clippers are sharp and cut very cleanly, and with excellent fine trimming abilities. They are very well made, and it seems like they will last a long time. The price was good at the time of this review too.
