CTA Tools 8880 Plugweld Locking Plier

I can’t believe I didn’t buy these sooner!! They work great and make spot welds easy . Going to order another one so I can clamp and weld two sections at a time.

I was installing new rocker panels on my truck when I bought these not really knowing how valuable it would be, Major Major helpful tool when welding up spot weld holes on body panelsDont know how i did it without this tool

Seems to be built well - affordable option from more expensive tools. Like this!

Came in handy when I was welding a quarter panel and I couldn't get a pinch welder to weld due to the rear seat being in the way. It also worked good to weld a bedside on around the wheel well and the top lip

This tools been great for those welds that need a backer and it’s a good clamp too. Seams to be built well and despite me leaving in the mud it hasn’t rusted up like some cheap metal does overnight.

I like that you can get it into pretty tight areas and it hold the metal really weld so it doesn’t move while welding

I wish I had found these earlier in my life, the backing allows a much better weld than without using these.

If you are plug-welding body seams this tool is a must. Saves a lot of time.
